What was the difference on that second pad with the pull tab? thingy. just wondering, nice set up really. thanks those vent holders drive me nutts. I like the ones that the charger plugs into the phone holder and wirelessly charges .
It seems like a solid system... except where the base attaches to that adhesive pad. With a phone on that arm how much does the phone shake up and down while driving?
First hot day this will fall off. The dashboard is made of dimpled plastic that doesn't allow for firm fixing using a pad unlike flat glass. The automotive manufacturers should have really upped their game when it came to mobile phones/connectivity/charging/sat nav etc. They just assumed everyone would Bluetooth through the audio systems.

It has not had any problems. I am surprised. My sons are not gentile either.
