Katrina, I am SUCH a fan of yours. Not only do I learn a ton from you but…..girl, even when things don’t go perfectly, your positivity is really inspiring. Thank you for teaching so many of us to just keep trying ♥️
I didn't know you were supposed to warm them up first. I made my first two and didn't warm them up first. I also didn't use the shrink wrap. They came out good though.
I came across your page today and was shocked to see that you don't tape the top or bottom of your tumblers (this is the only video I've seen that doesn't tape both). I am new to sublimation and can't stop the ghosting effect on the top & bottom so I just implemented it in the design. I just tried your method and got very little ghosting on the bottom but none on the top. I think that came from me trying to cut the bottom because I had more access on the bottom. Thanks for your video, you just saved me a whole lot of heat tape $$$.
It’s really hit of miss and depends on what machine I’m using. Just make sure there is no space in your paper when wrapping and taping your design as well.
Thanks for sharing the process with us. I learned so much from this one video. It was very informative. Your tumblers are beautiful. I'm trying to start my own business and I was wondering if you had any other tips for me on how to get started, and how to properly use waterside and how to do the spray paint process on tumblers and what designs I can do on a spray painted tumbler, and lastly, how to add epoxy to my tumblers. I know this is a lot to ask, but if you could help it would be much for. You really inspire me. Thank you for sharing again 😘 👍 💕 💕

Well, in the end, you got them all done beautifully and got the order out. And with that many tumblers, I'm impressed that it was only seven that weren't perfect. Great job! One question: Which one do you think works better when sublimating mugs and tumblers, silicone wraps or shrink wraps. GOD Bless :)
They both work fine. It’s not a question of which works better it’s more which is the best method for you and what machine you’re using. Shrink wraps don’t go in the mug press. And the tumblers do better for me in my oven rather than my press but I always do my mugs in my mug press.

Yes you can usually 400 degrees and time varies based on your oven and how many you have in there. I haven’t used one in a long time. There are other videos of people using convection ovens.
Hi, stumbled upon your video, and I haven’t been doing sublimation for the last almost 1 1/2 years, And plan on starting back so I thought OK I’ll go ahead and watch this.. I feel led to tell you that process is seriously dangerous of taking the ink off. What happens is the compounds change on a scientific level and the first time they’re heated (Seriously dangerous as well I had an exhaust fan going to outside and was doing it inside a ventilated garage) they become one thing … and the second time they’re heated it becomes more volatile. So please be very very cautious when you do this. i I would seriously recommend to be outside, with Proper mask on and not even inside the garage, you do not want this seeping into any part of your body, or exposing your children to it. Please walk and perform in wisdom. May God bless you and all your endeavors, and I pray protection over your health and prosperity.
