That album cover and title certainly isn't doing him any favors. I would have flipped right past it if I saw it in a shop. What great luck that you ran into some fans that could expose the diamond in the rough. Thanks for sharing!
+Digestion Records. Hey man. Thanks for watching the vid. Yep! I think i must have flipped past it coz he was in a section of the store i had already checked out so there you go! I was fortunate that day. The guy that put it in my hands is a well known collector/record store owner in that part of town. A real knowledgeable guy and a specialist in Australian obscurities. It was a cool afternoon indeed.
I have never, ever heard of that dude, nice series btw. And that is where the value of the VC lies, learning about interesting music, otherwise you get stuck in a loop, wider for some, narrower for others, but a loop none the less.
+sonicmainliner Hey man! Yes I totally agree. That's why i'm so excited to be part of this thing (even if its in a small way) I have learned so much already by watching all of these great videos. The l'oop' (whether wide or narrow) is what i try so hard to avoid. I live for new discoveries and to share the hidden gems i find with people who might be interested. Thanks for watching again mate. I'm going to post some more of these. Peace - Khristian
+last crate on the left Hey man. Its a pretty nice fusion-ish record. Ill definitely keep an eye out for this one for people who are interested. Cheers Greg..
Cool story and background. The record sure doesn't look like much judging by the cover - which is the fun thing about these sort of obscure albums, you never know if it might be a real gem. Good one, cheers.
+Doug A. Exactly man! That's what i get excited about too. The hidden gem. Its funny how some great records probably are only obscure 'because' of the unappealing sleeves and therefore, get pushed aside. Great music though. I will one day have the right equipment to upload some of these obscure records online so that you guys can sample them for yourselves. Cheers man - Khristian
Hi Khris, He's totally new to me this fellow. Sounds like you have a real jewel there. Very neat you had some contact with him as well. Thanks for sharing. -Carm
Videos like these, which get you to explore records and artists you never heard of are one of the best things about this community. Cool you had the chance to exchange words with him. It's a shame some artists can't even make money out of the records they make. Same in my country. Nice video, thanks.
+juodaavis Hey! Thanks again for watching the vids. Yep! I totally agree. That's what i love most about the community also. We are always on the hunt for new and interesting things and its really great to share the cool finds with people who are interested. Where is your country? Id love to see some obscurities from where you are from. Thanks again. Peace - Khristian
The Baltic states, Lithuania. I have a video in mind about LT music, but I don't own all of the records I'd like to show yet. Someday. Records here come in such little numbers that all of them are "limited" in a way haha and a lot of them are on CD format. There's not that many on vinyl I'd recommend now unfortunately, wish there were more, but I guess that'll happen with time and experience.
Lithuania...Cool. I'm intrigued. I must admit, i only know one band from your country (Im ashamed to say). Stellardrone are great but i have never seen their albums for sale anywhere. I am looking very much forward to your Lithuanian Music video:-)
Nothing to be ashamed of, I only knew a few bands/artists from Australia, until I started watching videos by Fred, Champsound and others. Stellardrone is new to me, you see :D just found out something new. Just checked Discogs and not so surprised as everything he put out seems to only have been released digitally.
Haha! Well, Im happy to show you something new too:-) If he was to put anything out on Vinyl, I would want to track it down right away. Its great ambient spacey music. I like it!
Obscure to me, for sure Khristian - thanks for showing this.

+Digestion Records Thanx mate! ;-)
thanks for sharing, I've never heard of that record, sounds very interesting based only on the cover and the instruments used!
+Chris4127basket Thanks Chris. Yep! Its a nice little album. Great Fusion with World and Soul leanings.
Cheers man!

Never heard of Greg Olsen unless it is the same guy that plays tight end for the Carolina Panthers.
+Vinyl Richie haha! Thats the football player that kept popping up each time i did a search for this guy. haha!
+Siren05 Yeah! He's always trip' to get into my act. There's also a great religious painter of the same name. :-)
