Her arms did not touch the swiss but it obstructed her clearly as the dutch girls arm was on the lane of the swiss girl. I think that was kinda unfair. Watch clips with front view footage. It was clear as day the upper body and arm of the dutch runner was out of her lane
How about taking your labels off the last 10 seconds so we can see if there was interference? Your videos cover up the shot.
I saw this live and this was reviewed by the judges thoroughly. She did not go into her lane or make contact with her in any way shape or form. Show respect and give credit where it’s due.

I think the runner beside her's arm went into her lane and it threw her off because she was so close to her. And I think that's what the taller runner intended to happen. She's the only runner NOT in the middle of her lane. She's doing her best to be as close to the shorter girl as possible.
U making it sound like the Netherlands athlete made it her mission to obstruct the Swiss athlete. She fell because her form faltered and she felt the pressure and in an attempt to respond she fell. She would’ve lost anyway because the Netherlands anchor was faster.

I believe that having somebody bigger handling a stick swinging so close can be a factor, it makes you lose focus on your step, look how close they were (2:10 to 2:15) I'm sure they could feel each other. Also, the taller girl was not in the center of her line, maybe you can't control that considering the effort and speed but still a factor to be considered.

When you're leaning forward like that and you're going to throw your arm upward to counterbalance during a stride and somebody else's arm goes flinging back into your arm that's trying to go forward it tends to do that.
