She could see/hear the Dutch runner coming alongside and tried to go all out by lengthening her stride at the very end. That's not "being scared," that's pouring it on. It's a gamble in running because you COULD trip yourself up by changing your gait. To my knowledge, neither the Swiss runner nor anyone on the Swiss team lodged a complaint or inquiry of any kind so, in all likelihood that means there was no contact.
