Es totalmente cierto aunque con el pie no invade el carril se ve claramente su brazo izquierdo cómo va estorbando a la corredora suiza, eso ya se considera un movimiento sucio y quedará marcado para su carrera de esta persona de nacionalidad holandesa
People look at the shorter girl and see her height as a disadvantage and as a disability and then look at the tall girl's long legs as an extra advantage and this makes them develop sympathy for the short girl but in reality shorter people have the real advantage because of their low center of gravity and because it is easier for them to be quicker but all in all these are two athletes working hard honestly and there is no need to put one down in favor of the other Put your emotions aside please, these things happen. People fall in track all the time especially in those long races where everyone is running wild, it's no one's fault At the end of the day, these are two well trained athletes, it's as simple as that.
@@usposse The one above is right, the short girl generates more empathy due to her short height, however that is not a true justification. Both athletes are incredible, and have their own merit, but still, it is clear that the short girl has too much acceleration, but the tall girl has more speed in the sprint and for that reason she quickly caught up with her that is why she was able to beat her, stop being . carried away by your emotions and be objective.
A car with larger tires with the same acceleration as a car with smaller tires will cover more area in less time it's simple math so the taller athlete has a physical advantage as long as he is just as quick as the shorter athlete now case closed✌🏾

Best way to explain acceleration and speed. Little lady is quicker, tall lady is faster. It all depends on the distance they have to cover. Little one was few meter short. For shure she will defeat the taller one in 60m. Both terrific runners
For those that think there was no contact, go to 2:04, and slow the video down. At the exact same moment the Swiss runner started to stumble, the stride of the Dutch runner changed and the next forward stroke of her right arm had to flail overhead to maintain balance. She was going to win, but that change in running stride and arm movement wouldnt have happened at the exact same moment as the other runner beginning to fall without some sort of contact. Previous shots also showed the Dutch runner was nearly on top of the line. Was it intentional? Im sure it wasnt, but contact of some kind almost certainly happened when the Dutch runners left arm was coming back and the Swiss runners right arm was coming forward.
That really only reinforces it, starting at 1:40, every single backstroke of the dutch girls arm is flailing into the other girls lane, completely overlapping the swiss girls arm. Going frame by frame up to 1:43 and 1:44 is approximately where the over take happens, the video is sort of pixelated and too zoomed out but there arms are still overlapping each other when they both go off balance at the exact same frame. @@MsTshaa

I think the runner beside her's arm went into her lane and it threw her off because she was so close to her. And I think that's what the taller runner intended to happen. She's the only runner NOT in the middle of her lane. She's doing her best to be as close to the shorter girl as possible.
U making it sound like the Netherlands athlete made it her mission to obstruct the Swiss athlete. She fell because her form faltered and she felt the pressure and in an attempt to respond she fell. She would’ve lost anyway because the Netherlands anchor was faster.

Watch the footage. She never reached over into her lane. The shorter girl got scared as the taller girl was approaching and could not handle her own speed. Subsequently, she folded. Give respect to both athletes and give credit where it’s due
I always thought the champion was the person who won? The Dutch girl came from behind to catch the Swiss girl, and everyone was talking about the little Swiss girl as if she worked harder. I saw two hard-working sprinters, and the faster Dutch runner came out on top, making her the champion.
@Benny-zo3qh Totally missing the point that I was making. I'm just saying she ran good, and despite the fall in which we could argue, it may have been because the other girl might have affected her to some capacity. She faired well.
@ONLY1KUDWE I understand your point. I just find it interesting that most people like yourself are giving the Swiss girl so much credit when the Dutch girl that came from behind is the one who clearly deserves her flowers. The Dutch showed sprinting superiority, but all we wanna talk about is the girl who "tried really hard" and fell at the end. She was good, and the Dutch girl was great, that's why she's the champion. Regarding her fall. There's no argument. She fell on her own. Otherwise, the Dutch girl would have been disqualified. I've watched this race from multiple angles and in slow-motion. No contact whatsoever, so there's no argument.
@ONLY1KUDWE I think you're digging for what you want to hear instead of accepting reality. If she was bumped, then there would be a discussion about it amongst the officials. She lost fair and square. She ran hard, but the other girl ran harder, hence why in my books (which happen to coincide with the facts and reality) she's the one and only champion of that race.....and her team of course. It's one of the greatest comebacks of relay, and here you are ignoring the winner who came back from behind, just to praise the loser because she threw herself on the ground at the end. As I said before, interesting 🤔 BTW- Just because she's short and takes quick steps, doesn't mean she's fast. She got destroyed in the end. Completely blew a lead, even though she tried hard
When you're leaning forward like that and you're going to throw your arm upward to counterbalance during a stride and somebody else's arm goes flinging back into your arm that's trying to go forward it tends to do that. Es totalmente cierto aunque con el pie no invade el carril se ve claramente su brazo izquierdo cómo va estorbando a la corredora suiza, eso ya se considera un movimiento sucio y quedará marcado para su carrera de esta persona de nacionalidad holandesa
@@yimicen9155No. At no time does the Dutch runner hinder the Swiss runner. The race was fair.
People look at the shorter girl and see her height as a disadvantage and as a disability and then look at the tall girl's long legs as an extra advantage and this makes them develop sympathy for the short girl but in reality shorter people have the real advantage because of their low center of gravity and because it is easier for them to be quicker but all in all these are two athletes working hard honestly and there is no need to put one down in favor of the other
Put your emotions aside please, these things happen. People fall in track all the time especially in those long races where everyone is running wild, it's no one's fault
At the end of the day, these are two well trained athletes, it's as simple as that.
Your wrong
@@usposse what your argument? What's your logic? You can't just open your mouth and say "your wrong" without any basis
@@adanjordan1634 I am a sprinter I ran at a high level I am talking from actual experience it is you who are getting emotional believe it
A car with larger tires with the same acceleration as a car with smaller tires will cover more area in less time it's simple math so the taller athlete has a physical advantage as long as he is just as quick as the shorter athlete now case closed✌🏾

The only reason it was so close was because the Netherlands had a poorly timed handoff to the fourth leg. Lil switz is speedy though!
A mi parecer al final la holandesa iba invadiendo el carril de la suiza y un pequeñisimo contacto al final hizo que ésta cayera. Debieron descalificar a la holandesa.
She is no.1
Yeah the Netherlands girl was in this race.
Mighty mouse had some burners too be so short i was rooting for her
Yeah too bad Swiss Miss wasn’t just a lil taller, she might have won but all respect, she made it exciting!!
Why go all the way to 2:04 start watching from 1:40 the front view she never touched her .
@@MsTshaa

1. the whole left arm from the Nedetherlands runner was on the other lane , which is a violation. No it is not a violation, Stepping on the inside line is a violation ONLY ON THE TURNS. On the straights you do not get an unfair advantage. So if your arm is in the other lane, it is good unless you make contact with the runnier in that lane.
2. we all know that if that was called because she was not not stepping out of her lane the whole woke and racist army will go on a crusade on how the black are once again victims. And they would have every right to do so. Why would they call anything if she wasn't stepping out of her lane?
@@sydboski go read the rules again. that is a violation and there are other cases that this was called.
Her arms did not touch the swiss but it obstructed her clearly as the dutch girls arm was on the lane of the swiss girl. I think that was kinda unfair. Watch clips with front view footage. It was clear as day the upper body and arm of the dutch runner was out of her lane

Because there were no grounds for disqualification. It's only if a leg were to cross.
Because there was no contact. You can be dq'd if you step on the inside line on the turns. If you step on the lines on the straight you do not gain any unfair advantage and will not be dq'd if you do not make contact.

Twinkle twinkle little star 🌟 Swiss is the superstar 🎉
Swiss girl ran hard and good. She's a champ in my book.
@@Benny-zo3qh I would rather hear it from the swiss girl whether she was bumped or whatever.
As I said before, interesting 🤔
BTW- Just because she's short and takes quick steps, doesn't mean she's fast. She got destroyed in the end. Completely blew a lead, even though she tried hard
Did their hands hit? Looked like there was no contact but why did she fall?
Ran out of juice under the pressure😊
Her legs were going faster than her mind could comprehend at that moment because she was under pressure
When you're leaning forward like that and you're going to throw your arm upward to counterbalance during a stride and somebody else's arm goes flinging back into your arm that's trying to go forward it tends to do that. People didn't pay attention in physics class and it shows. Taller girl is a dick.
