@@AdamUPN0w yes it took me a few hours to get it started but once I figured out the problem it went smoothly. I had a bit of a problem getting the AP file to load into Odin but I fixed it by deleting Odin & reinstalled it.

Worked for my S21
The easiest solution to this is looking for the cp file from your firmware and flashing it under AP slot in Odin, and voila it's solved.
Please tell me if i flash my software by odin my phone carrier locked or not .

From the video it appears to work as far as getting the newest software release, however, what happens when another version is released? Do we have to go through all this again or does this fix OTA updating as well?
I believe you can ask it to update and it will look for the latest update. I did that recently and it said I was on the lasted firmware.
I just got an auto update ota today so it does work.
Odin update failed it says " all binaries are not allowed to flash kg locked "

What if Smart Switch will not install on the phone? It and most all Samsung apps fail updating or installing. Android apps install fine unless they are Samsung apps.
After that all my sim cards "not registered on network", what does it mean? Ive tried all, almost all, ive only one option now - reset again with Odin

Android 13 has multiple updates as well can we go from 12 to 13 most latest version without doing prior 13 updates?
Is the firmware already has the updates in it sure. Do make sure you phone can support the updates by going to manufacture spec page.

I bought a renewed s23 ultra which is stuck at 5.1 may 1st firmware.. It says up to date. What I do know is, this is suppose to be an unlocked phone. But when I did the *#1234# it shows verizon. What should I do now? Can I flash this sucker so it no longer belongs to verizon? Only option currently to update would be getting a hold of a verizon sim card.

@@RandomZ8 No dude, you must use XAA to update your phone OTA because your phone is XXA region. I've tested on my S21 FE XXV, I flashed INS ROM and got the same error :)
smart switch says my note 20 ultra Is already up to date on android 12 when there's android 13 available
Man mine note 9 is 8.1.0 and it stills says up to date
@@Spectrific for me after some deep research turns out the guy I bought this from locked it to android 12, how? I don't know, the fix to it is that I have to update it on my computer by force, but I might brick the phone in the process so it's fine, I only wanted the update to use some good lock apps but I found a work around that

@@ericjohnson5172 no bro, sorry, I've just kept it the way it is, you could try and force it to update by force using a pc but you might brick the phone so I'd rather be safe than sorry.
