duuude, I spent the whole fucking day trying to unbrick the damn phone searching the god damn google and Xda developers forums and downloading crap tons of kernels and odins and bootloaders and firmware and roms and god knows what other crap I don't even understand what it is and all I had to do is fucking click 2 god damn buttons :D THANKSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D you saved my phone from flying from the fourth floor it was really close :D

This is 2 years old now and is still relevant up to this date. today i've been scraching my head all day trying to restore a bricked phone and almost ready to trow but then i came across this video and it just worked. after about 10 minutes it was done just like it comes out of the shop. thanks very much for uploading this great video

my kies froze. Is that normal?
S/N is almost same with the IMEA number. But S/N is a number you can find on your back of your Samsung at the end of your phone

And for everyone that has the problem of bootloop/stuck on Samsung logo, just go into recovery mode and do the factory reset and reboot it again. Wait a few moments and the start up should begin..

+Rare Cheif2 you have to wait sometimes it takes time. there is a guy who commented about waiting 2.5 hours. it worked for me after waiting almost an hour. Just dont unplug the USB.

hi, I'm trying to -I guess- unbrick a Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 (SM-G313MU). It turns on and off ad eternum when trying to boot, and only starts in download mode (recovery doesn't work, charging doesn't work either). Odin and Kies do recognize it while in download mode, then I flash the new firmware (while in download mode, of course) and when it comes to the restart part the same thing happens again. I'm pretty sure it's a hardware thing but the weird part is that while in download mode the pone does not shut off and/or turn on, it works good. Any suggestions? Thanks ia.

Hi, my galaxy note II is stuck at logo, Kies 2.6 or 3.0 asks for S/N and I do not have it on the back. The phone body was replaced by T-mobile under warranty and this one does not have S/N number Kies is asking. The model is SGH-T889. I see in the video your version of Kies asking IMEI number. I downloaded Kies 3 and both ask for S/N. I don't have it. Is there a way I can install firmware on galaxy note II? Thanks for all your help.
hey. I have a question about my tablet. My Tab 3 sm-t110 is in a soft brick right now. When I connect it to the computer, in download, my computer doesn't recognize it. Help I've tried this three times now and it just keeps failing, Kies tells me I need to do an emergency restore but doesn't give me a 'code' to start it

Any idea how to deal with if Kies doesn't recognize device on a windows platform? I imagine it is a driver issue, but assuming that kies, being official samsung product, would natively already installdriver components on a flagship product (Samsung Galxy Note Edge 915x) ... don't know where to go from here... like where I would find official rom to maybe the use odin? or official driver and down/install manually on pc.... maybe use a different OS for running kies?

So several months ago i soft bricked my samsung galaxy a7 and i managed to install a custom firmware via odin, and my question is can i factory reset and wipe system partion on my phone? My phone is also rooted by magisk, i dont have any custo roms on my device just rooted apps available on playstore like fkm and servicely. I hope i can get an answer i really want to reset my phone. Thanks Bro! it did fine on My Galaxy A310F (A3 2016. With kies 3, at first attempt was like unknown device ( all with the correct S/N and model name) ,but successed on third try. The phone was FAP locked... The network operators official service wanted to take about 120$!! (wich is more like as punishment then some kind of "repair cost") but thanks to You,I did it by Myself in 40 minutes,FREEEEE!! Thanks again,God bless You!

HI bro i have a SM-G530W i installed root first and removed it later on and after it rebooted it stuck on samsung boot logo and when i connect it to odin or any computer it says device not recognised any solution
Would this fix S3 GALAXY . i had been restarted as new but it is stuck in some type of loop. I something to do with (google manger has stopped. and potiential Firmware issue. I heard on youtube some where it could be a FRP factory reset protection lock as the phone may have thought it had a abnormal factory default .

Hey, i've a big problem. I bricked my phone trying to flash the Cyanogenmod Rom in my Samsung galaxy s2 gt i9100. Before flashing the ROM I had done my phone backup using CWM Recovery backup. But when try to restore my phone to stock android from the backup, it only boot loops. Now i saw your video, but when i clicked on the Kies link, it shows the page of Samsung Smart switch. Should i download that? Would this process (in the video) would help recovering my S II GT-I9100? Please help me. Thank you!!
i have an smg360HU phone which was bricked and had it repaired, when i looked it back again, it becomes smg360H where it cant be updated to latest version, it says "OS on your device has been modified in an unauthorized way ..." is there a way that my phone smg360H to be updated to latest version, through samsung kies?

Hi, my phone is the same model you used for this demo. It just has a locked bootloader after I rooted it, then sadly performed an OTA update.. (Thanks Verizon) In essence it won't let me install or boot to Recovery mode and I pretty much FUBARED it by installing buncha tars on it using Odin. I have followed every step in your video, and now it's @ 18% but I just realized after finishing this video, that the progress bar doesn't show on the phone (in downloading mode)I am not sure if this process is going to flash the phone or not.. At the same time I don't want to abort this process. We'll see.. Thanks

my kies 3 asks for s/n not imei number my phones bricked and none of the other numbers in the battery compartment work as s/n. not sure what to do?
I just tried this on my Note Edge and it says my serial number is invalid, which I know it is not because when I had a Samsung warranty on it I sent it in for repairs without any problem. Do you have any suggestions what I can do? I've tried to put in my S/N several times but it continues to say it is invalid.
I didn't drop my phone and it doesn't have water damage, just out of the blue my Note Edge phone started freezing and then restarting every time I used it. After a couple of days of freezing and restarting it finally just stuck on the red Verizon screen. I did the home key, volume up, power button thing and cleared the cache but that did nothing.

Will this action need space and will it lose anything already on the phone as i have a Galaxy alpha and doesnt have a memory slot so no way of saving my photos and such on a memory card without transferring first

Galaxy J3. What if the sticker under the battery carries neither a serial number or IMEI? Instead mine has a long string of numbers after the word "DEC" and a string after the word "HEX". Entering either string in the Keis field returns and "incorrect s/n" response. What do you do then?
