I always pop the hood or seat off depending on what ski I used even if they were stored outside u could just crack the hood open or seat up and critters won't get in there. Just leave it for a day and then both it back up
Its simple to just place a low wattage heater stick inside the engine compartment over the winter, or if you aren’t going to use it for some time. I do this every winter and it works great. I also don’t have to worry about critters, as the seat will close even with an extension cord.
Not sure what a RAM mount is but I will look it up. As far as the threaded holes, I did but a long 1/4-20 threaded rod and screwed it in the threaded 1/4-20 hold to create a high mount for the go-pro

Sounds like it works, but I’d be too nervous that having a heating element where gas fumes collect may not fair well. 😬
You literally have a spot to put a RAM mount to mount the gopro to the threaded holes.
