    Having worked with plastic before myself to attempt something similar (and having less than stellar results) that turned out amazing! You would never know that's been repaired to the extent it had a whole chunk missing!!

    It looks fantastic! Great job. I would like to see a couple of minutes of real time repair before the sped up parts. That plastic welding is wild and I’ve never seen It done before.

    The speed problem could be the impeller and wear ring are shot. 800 hrs you want to go through the entire ski from stem to stern.
    Awesome project, I’m envious. These sort of skis never make their way to MA.

    Zach your correct in that rental companies use the "learning key" for most rentals. Easy way to tell if it is a leaning key is to put it back in the water, and check how high your rpms are. The ecu restricts how high it can go to keep power down. Same way seadoo sparks are all the same horsepower just tuned different. Also, if you get a candoopro, it can code and program keys as well as diagnostics for under $500 for 5 different skis.
