@HenchClanTV Anyone can put a few songs together on a CD. It doesn’t mean the musicians made that ‘album’, someone else did. Dimebag was already dead when someone put those unreleased songs together on one CD. Dimebag didn’t do that.
I hate that his voice gives me goosebumps, because Dime is the only singer i've come across that does that and it bums me out that i'll never hear it anymore
And we definetly need another Dime solo ep, it would contain this song, 'caged in a rage, 'country western transvestite whore' and couple of new unrealeased tracks
he was such a kiss fan, he was even buried in a Kiss coffin. who else if not he could do such a cover of a song written by one of his heroes. btw: i like dimes version more.
I just dont understand why every great song has to always end up in a discussion/debate/argument about race...wtf??? I am a black male and I LOVE White Zombie, Tool, Slipknot, AIC, Primus, Metallica, Pantera..etc BUT I also appreciate good hip hop and other genres of music which include country. I mean for real people get a freaking clue...it's 2012...not 1912...

Dude, I went to see them at Joes Garage in Fort Worth, Texas when they were doing Powermetal with Phil...get this, there were only 20 people in the club...and 4 of them were PANTERA! Very intimate setting...it rocked like no other! I'll never forget it for as long as I live!
Think about it there's a CFH solder every hour of the day slamming down a drink to some pantera related music dime and vinnie will live forever can i hear a amen from my CFH brothers!!!!!!
Damn it, I actually really like his vocals. I also remember that he could often sing at the early panther live concerts, his singing abilities grew a lot. And I want to say these reefs are driving me crazy.
John carter jr not a KISS song, written by Ace Frehley, lead vocals, back ground vocals, lead, rhythm and bass all performed by Ace on the original and it’s from Aces solo album.
Pantera was one of the only great things that emerged from here. Wish I could've been around to see them before Dimebag died, it's actually amazing to think that they formed Pantera in the same state I live in.
Snowblind Dimebag Darrell It's so hard to feel right baby When I'm travelin' around and you're far behind Guy, I wish I could see my lady Girl, I hope you don't mind, 'cause I'm snowblind, I can't see a thing I'm snowblind, I don't wanna sing I'm snowblind, need a familiar face I'm snowblind, think I'm lost in space Lookin' out my window, sometimes I wonder Am I ever gonna get to where I'm gonna go home Maybe tomorrow, maybe next summer Girl, I just don't know, 'cause I'm snowblind, I can't see a thing I'm snowblind, I don't wanna sing I'm snowblind, need a familiar face I'm snowblind, think I'm lost in space Movin' around, I get in trouble When I'm feelin' so low and out of my mind Babe, I don't wanna burst your bubble Girl, you know the reason why, 'cause I'm snowblind, I can't see a thing I'm snowblind, I don't wanna sing I'm snowblind, need a familiar face I'm snowblind, think I'm lost in space
As teens, my friends and I were highly (and drunkenly) influenced by the antics we saw in the Pantera home movies. We came up with this poorly conceived character called "Johnny Rebel", where I would don a Confederate flag as a cape and terrorize people in public while we taped it with a camcorder. It was mostly me chasing cars in the street, running around, randomly flailing in public. Generally being teenage assholes. Funny for about 5 minutes before it wore out its welcome. "Snowblind" was Johnny Rebel's theme song. Good times!
I wish I had recorded a version like this BEFORE Dime and put it as a B-side to a single. Doing it now would be pointless. Dime raised the bar on that song!!!
This is the direction Damageplan should have gone in, with Darrell doing the vocals.
yeah man i totally agree with u
I like the way you think!
never thought of it until now, that would've been so powerful

Crazy how the greatest Heavy Metal guitarist of all time was also a MUCH better vocalist than 90% of actual Heavy Metal vocalists.
LambOfLucifer it like he has a southern sound , I know he was from Texas, but I guess he's got something a tad southern in his voice.
He was better than his own vocalists in both his bands!
LambOfLucifer all that smoking and drinking gives you a real chiseled voice
He aint no Dio, but he is old school, gen X!
@@madhatter8508 now that my friend is a lie, Phil Anselmo could absolutely not be matched in screaming. He advanced metal.
I thought this would be Dime covering Sabbath's Snowblind.
Same here...
same
me three..
Chris Kiefer well he was a huge Ace fan, Ace was his inspiration for picking up the guitar
they sorta covered sweet leaf
Dude, he should've made a solo album or something, this is amazing!
@Mgd_Skits he Didnt, the hitz is just compilation of couple of his unheared songs
@Mgd_Skits random songs he wrote through the years
@JOLLYBOYS a compilation of unreleased songs put out after his death is not him making a solo album.
@HenchClanTV Anyone can put a few songs together on a CD. It doesn’t mean the musicians made that ‘album’, someone else did. Dimebag was already dead when someone put those unreleased songs together on one CD. Dimebag didn’t do that.
Happy and sad at the same time listening to this. Can you imagine what else he and Vinnie would have created if still alive??
#1DNR Yeah, Pantera would've patched shit up and we'd have that.
#1DNR You know I'm right. Darrell would've thrown this shit out and made peace. If you're a Pantera fan in the slightest, you'd know this.
I hate that his voice gives me goosebumps, because Dime is the only singer i've come across that does that and it bums me out that i'll never hear it anymore

people call LB Nu-Metal other calls them Rap-Metal
what song ??
very true bro...miss Dimebag!! R.I.P
pkj77 i dunno if its the song i was thinking of but "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit is very similar
So badass! He was an awesome vocalist too
I wonder what a Dimebag Darrell solo album would have sounded like....
there’s an ep, that’s as close as it gets
Zach Bartlett a very beautiful EP
And we definetly need another Dime solo ep, it would contain this song, 'caged in a rage, 'country western transvestite whore' and couple of new unrealeased tracks
awesome it what it would have sounded like
@@shredbacca Good answer.

I'm confused by your comment.
