- New year, clean slate! Every new year, two themes continue to pop up. Taking better care of my health and taking better care of my skin. The second one is very important to me, because it affects my confidence and I’d love to feel more comfortable in my bare skin. It’s an ongoing work in progress (both internally and externally), and one of the major things I’m very diligent about is having a great skincare system. miss the old videos.. that's what drew me in. sponsors aren't evil but if it's not balanced, it doesn't feel genuine..
Can I just say that after your brave story on Instagram I remembered one of your old videos when your brother is visiting you, and you dragged him in front of the camera with you and jumped up and down with excitement. I had to rewatch that and shed a few happy tears for you, it just moved me so much that short intro. Needles to say (I hope) you telling your story moved me so much. You are such a brave, strong and amazing woman! I love that you are back to RUclips, your sweet and funny personality just goes right trough the camera! /Very proud subscriber, watcher and follower for several years ❤️❤️❤️

Yeah like, she said it's "only 18 out of 120 videos in total that are sponsored" but like all of the latest videos are the sponsored ones.
So I feel like it's not fair that she counts the non-sponsored videos from years ago 🙈

For those of you crying about her doing sponsorship videos. Watch upto 3-4mins and she explains. No one works for free and she’s lucky enough to combine passion with pay. More importantly she donates the money well some of it to help others. I’m sure most of the keyboard warriors don’t engage in regular charitable actions.
Lovely to see your work always and please, please, please don’t take on others negativity to the detriment of your own life. People who matter will and do support you. For those who complained that she’s doing a sponsor video, tbh sponsored videos arent great but what’s she doing is sooooo muchhh better than other RUclipsrs because at least she is promoting the products that she actually uses and believes in! Unlike youtubers whom I used to love, such as Jenim who completely turned to be a sell-out, promoting pretty much every single product just for the money, including the products she hasnt never used. Plus Wendy is making donations towards a foundation unlike those spoilt influencers who just spend money on living their lux life.
yooo don't let the haters get to you, Wendy! been a fan since your earlier RUclips days (25 ways to wear a scarf is one of my faves) and still love your content. I think you do a great job of balancing your personal life and how much you share with the public. that's so hard to do well- being relatable but also protecting yourself. anyone who knocks sponsorship just doesn't understand how the real world works today. keep it up!!

I have Excma/dry skin. This omega Cream from biossance works for me. There is a little bit strange smell but it's okay. At the end of the day My skin is still hydrated. (Recommended by Aimee Song)

Wow a blast from the past! I remember the day when you and the girl from Extra Petite posted a video together about business to casual outfits. You look so different now. The eyes and the voice are the same, warm and lovely. The mouth is very different, not sure what is it is, maybe the whitening. And the perkiness mellowed down. I’ve watched her for years, and she’s changed a lot. More materialistic, can’t really even relate anymore. Can tell she’s still a great person but more materialistic.
Everyone changes as they get older- i don't understand why that's always such a surprised to people. I also think people interpret getting more successful and being able to afford nice things as materialistic. I actually love Wendy and have followed her through out the years because I thought she's always held up the same altruistic values- which I even see here in this video. I think she's grounded and caring, and puts passion and love into her work. xx

I so wanted to give your video a thumb up but can’t, I’m really sorry and I hope you take this comment as well intentioned because I care. It’s not that it’s sponsored, I just think it’s not a reflection of who you were in older videos. People change and I guess I wished you remained on the same line. The reason I watch and rewatch your older videos is because they come from a girl who really wanted to help a friend.
