    Well Abby, that has to be THE BEST AND MOST INFORMATIVE AND IN-DEPTH video I have ever watched. I have dabbled with BR as well and use the liquid exfoliant periodically during the week. There is one place that I know of in downtown Toronto that uses strictly BR products ....that’s where I get my lotion from......the gal I speak with is always after me to go down there and get a facial, which now I probably will. I am very much like yourself and get all involved with so many skincare lines and wish I could just find that magic bullet.....but I’m so all over the map with products that I hear about....that I end up stopping one product when I hear about another miracle one....eg. enter Augustinus Bader ...lol.....(he left quickly too).....the BR line is such a great one....and it is like a chemistry class learning how and what goes where and when. In any event I am definitely going to take a trip down there soon and get a facial ......and take it from there. Thank you so much for taking the time to do such a thorough review. Excellent! Xx Elaine
    N.B. All the best with your gum surgery. See you soon.

      Elaine- it sounds like we are two peas in a pod as far as skincare goes. I would recommend going for a facial because it is hard to figure out exactly what to purchase for an effective routine. I have included a few things that I consider add-ons- the MC110 -booster and the Finishing Serum. I think they are great but just an added layer. I hope this was helpful and keep me posted on your skincare journey. xoxo

    I’m trying to learn more about BR products and have been watching all of your videos. I’m close to you in age and have similar skin challenges so this has been super helpful. The product line has so many options hard to know what to choose. I got a chuckle though because I’ve had facials or procedures in the past and came out looking far worse than when I went in. And my hubby asks why I would pay for such things. I laugh now but probably came close to crying then. Thanks again for sharing all you’ve learned about the brand!

    Thanks for the update! Glad you loved your facial, you are glowing! I love the Environ retinol (I use level 3) retinols usually aren’t effective for me, only just Retin A but that one is. Great video! Beautiful skin. Wow 50, you look amazing! I was a sun worshiper too and so regret that, ugh. The wrinkles don't bother me either, its that darn pigmentation. I'm obsessed with skin care and I just discovered this line, so thanks for your review and your time. :)

      Kristin- I hate to admit it but I even used to use TANNING BEDS back in the day. Holy Moly! I totally regret all these years of trying to get tan. The hyperpigmentation gets me too and if I could do it all over again- I would stay out of the sun - and use SPF religiously. Okay... maybe not stay completely out of the sun but at least use SPF! I am really loving this line after getting over the hump with the product selection. xoxo

    • @kristinclara
      @kristinclara 5 лет назад

      Abby, I was in that tanning bed too! Loved the warmth of those bulbs and the sun kissed glow it resulted in, lol! It was in fashion back then. Now when I see people on the beach sunning themselves I'm horrified. Lol! This line looks very interesting. Sure is on the pricy side though. I have discovered a great youtuber you might want to check out if you haven't watched her yet, Dr Dray. She is a dermatologist that talks about skin concerns, ingredients and reviews products herself. I have learned so much from her and feel empowered now when buying skin care. You look amazing! I can't wait for my ZIIP to show up! Thank you for your awesome videos. I was not sure which one to purchase but your side by side comparison + the fact that my daughter can used the acne treatment mode- + the cleaner conductive gel made the decision easier. xoxo

  • @lavinder11
    @lavinder11 4 года назад

    I've been using Glossier on and off for a year, but have noticed that it leaves my skin super dry and it doesn't last for long.
    I originally wanted the P50T because it's the gentlest formula, but it's only sold in Canada.
    I have dark skin with hyperpigmentation that develops after a pimple no matter what I do, so I chose the P50 PIGM 400 for that and because it closely resembles the P50T.
    Upon use (tonight), it didn't burn, thank god, and I noticed that my skin looked glowing right away. I'm sure it won't work as quickly at the full strength lotions, but I'm fine with that.

      @@AbbyBlissWhite I am a skincare junkie like you, so I do try lots and lots of products. So I can't say I only use BR, but I do love following the whole regimen when I restock. I have a background in science and I work in skincare so its also an excuse to literally try everything... as ingredients are my passion! But as far as BR, I have tried many samples along with my staple products I have purchased. I am approaching 30, so my routine is a little different from yours. But skin type wise, I am dry (gotta love French genetics), I do have expression lines around the mouth and on my forehead. My whole life I've had a full face of freckles (I have to keep them under control), so skincare is super important to keep it healthy. I am married to my Lait EV... my favorite cleanser of all BR milks. For acid toner, I have purchased P50W the most, but I have now switched to P50V 1970. If they are ever too much, I spray Avene thermal water spray on my cotton pad first. I use Shiseido cotton pads for it :) For masks, I use their Masque Vivant with a bit of baking soda once per week. It brightens my skin (and freckles!) instantly and clears up any angry hormonal breakouts. My favorite serum to use after Vivant is the Serum Placenta because it heals and calms my skin down after the deep cleaning affect of the Vivant. That serum really does rebuild your skin's barrier! It took a few months of consistent use to really notice how amazing it really was. I wish I would have been more consistent with the Placenta serum when I first purchased it. I thought it wasn't doing anything special and smelled like piss LOL But I was just being impatient. Since I do have dry skin, I am a huge fan of Masque VIPO2 and Masque Visolastine+. If I had to pick between the two however, I prefer Visolastine+ because I find it almost more nourishing and it totally gets rid of any lines. I am SO happy you love it too! I absolutely love a thin layer of it overnight on my smile lines around my mouth! I smile a lot, I can't help it!!! I SWEAR doing that has majorly improved them. When I do it consistently with the BR serums underneath the smile lines completely disappear. I have also loved and used Creme Masque Vernix as a night cream, but I didn't order it this time around. Maybe next time as I already just spent so much on my recent order. Building a BR collection takes time and money! I also went through a whole jar of creme Dermopurifiante. Its a wonderful cream for breakout prone skin and was actually so lovely on my dry skin. I had a sample of VIPO2 eye cream with my last order and I totally fell in love, it never irritated my eyes (as most eye creams do) and it really did make a difference on my dark circles that are genetic! This past Friday I finally ordered more BR, I had run out for a little while and experimented with other brands. But it's time for more BR! I ordered Lait EV, P50V 1970, Creme VIPO2 Yeux eye cream, Serum Elastin Pure (for my few lines), Serum Colostrum (for my dryness), and a small Serum iribiol (I'm randomly breaking out around ears and side burns). Oh my I just wrote a novel... Have a great week! xo

      @@sabrinablier813 THANK YOU! Yes, I LOVE hearing you routine and the products you love. I needed this little boost because I have been tinkering with a little Dr. Barbara Sturm after investing in all this BR and have kept most of the routine but have to admit the serums are my least favorite even though effective!!! The Colustrum and Marine both smell bad. BUT my skin has been so happy with the overall routine. I do admit that I just ordered the Dr. Frances Prenna Jones Formula 2006 to try out as a replacement for my beloved P50 V 1970!! I will let you know what I think : ) Thank you. Thank you for writing your NOVEL. Obviously, I could talk about skin care all day!! xoxo

    Interesting video. FYI - Nuface can easily be used around your eyes and lips, there's an attachment for that, as well as for LED lights. I'm sure the ZIIP is great as well, but it's very $$$$$, as is their gel. Thank you, I'll be watching to see how your skin progresses!

    Thanks for the in depth review. I was in New York a month ago and had a BR facial (not at rescue spa though) and they recommended switching between P50W and P50pim 400. I also got creme verte espoir for redness and creme placenta at night. They recommended serum Grande Millesime as a finish. Whew! Quite a chunk of change, but it was fun! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the products. I am incorporating some of my green beauty oils and such with them for now. I am early 50s as well. We shall see! Cwyn N BR has been amazing for my hormonal cystic acne I developed in my late 20s. It’s delightful! They can recommend a specific and ideal routine for you if you call Toska European Spa, Joanna Czech in Texas or Rescue Spa in NYC. Personally, Lait EV, P50V 1970, masque Vivant mixed with a pinch of baking soda, serum Placenta and Creme Dermopurifiante has cleared up my skin. At first I didn’t think placenta serum was doing much until I consistently used it everyday for 2 months. Serum placenta helped my skin heal and also helped with my scars. They also recommend using serum iribiol for general breakouts or persistent acne, while the placenta serum just heals. For gel cleanser I also really like the TULA purifying face cleanser!

    I am so glad your experience was good!!!!! YAY for you! My goal is to get to Toska Spa, strictly a BR ambassador spa in North Carolina...I can dream :) I think we are similar regarding moisturizer, for it is often my enemy...never blown away and impressed-I have been trying a lot of the BR samples I've had sent to me, literally almost 100, and no moisturizer has blown me away-I was in Arizona last week and NOTHING made my skin happy, like it was so dehydrated! Once I came back I pulled out my Omorovicza Gold Rescue Cream and a world of difference, Westman Atelier products sit beautifully on it too-I am almost out of it so that makes me sad for it is reallllllllly expensive-I have a couple samples of the MSR-H that I should try, being if I am willing to spend around $300 for a face cream-I can say that the Visolastine is good, I prefer it over all their other mask-Now I use the Vernix to sleep in, so I consider that as a moisturizer, I'll never just wipe that one off ;) I hope your products work for you and glad your face did not look like red and burned when you walked out, that is the worst feeling...you want to say "look at my face!!! I am not paying!!!"

      Tristan - I was TOTALLY thinking about you and the Omorovicza cream as I was placing my order because if I am going to spend that kind of money on a moisturizer- I want to truly LOVE it! There is a Christmas set on Beautylish right now that includes your favorite cream. I did really enjoy my facial and was so happy that it turned out well. I hate spending $$$ on stuff that wrecks my skin. Now- I am wondering if I am able to send back MSH-R and give the Gold Cream a whirl....LOL! It is SO HARD to spend that much on a moisturizer for me. I am not sure why- but they just don't blow me away. I will go ahead and get that mask too. It seemed like the right one for my skin type. Thank you for all the great info and keep me posted on what you decide. xoxo

      @@AbbyBlissWhite I am so going to the site after I type this!!! The Gold Cream is like La Mer, it is heavy and thick but what I do is take some and warm it on my fingers, then firmly press into the face and then massage around-It is very hydrating, which I need being it's 20* today, and breezy AND that I have dehydrated skin-I think you will like the Visolastine, I leave it on for 20-25 minutes, take off with a cool wash cloth then slather Colustrum on my face, I can tell it makes my skin happy-
      Today I used my Omorovicza cleansing balm, P50 1970, Serums; Glyca, Elastine Pure, Tissulaires, and Colustrom then patted and massaged the Gold Rescue Cream in...I just looked in the mirror and my face is hydrated and glowing (Thanks to you and Westman Atelier) During this time of year I just need the barrier that the cream gives-Are you able to get a sample at all first? This was such a great video! I've recently started using only BR skincare products (plus my sunscreen, prescription Retin A, and a Vitamin C), and I'm really happy with how it's going! I do think there's something to be said for using products from one line that are designed to work together. Also, even though BR is pricey, I'm not tempted to branch out and try a lot of stuff that ends up in a skincare graveyard in my bathroom drawer. So, in the long run, it has actually helped me cut down on spending. One more thing - have you ever tried Cle de Peau The Foundation? It is AMAZING. If you can get a sample you should post a review!

      Ashlyn F- I completely agree! everytime I get swayed by a new product - for example the new Sunday Riley kit (LOL) I just take a look at my skin from a month ago and say NO- stick with BR! My skin has improved so much already and I also feel like I am not tinkering as much. I would love to know what Vitamin C you are using? I have been a Skinceuticals CE Ferulic fan for a long time but would love to try something new. Thank you for watching. xoxo

      @@AbbyBlissWhite Well, I am also a Penn Smith fan haha. She did a video on Vitamin C recently. I'd been using the Skinceuticals C E Ferulic too and I LOVE it, but I wanted to try a new vitamin C with Tetrahexydecyl Ascorbate after I watched Penny's video on it. I ended up purchasing Truth Treatment Serums Transdermal C Serum. I've only been using it for a week, but I am a fan so far!

    Hi Abby! microdermabrasion makes my skin feel SO raw and thin, I'm glad I stopped doing it. By epi pen, did you mean microneedling? I had a similar reaction and three weeks later my skin was flawless.

    OMG Abby, does your son go to NYU? When you mentioned that area of downtown NY it made me think so ..... My son goes there 😃👍. I must try this spa. I’ve been afraid to try the famous Lotion P50 because I have mild rosacea & mature sensitive skin. I was told that rosacea prone skin wasn’t allowed to use Retinols or Acids...? I’m curious now. Thank you for sharing ur experience 😃! Xoxo 😘 Deborah

      Deborah- my son goes to The New School right by NYU! That is so fun. He is now a sophomore. How about your son? I am so surprised but I have been able to use Lotion P50V. I actually have to say - the BR routine really helped me clear up my rosacea outbreak - BUT everyone is different and I have been able to keep mine at bay for a bit now. PHEW!!! Thank you!! xoxo

    Thank you so much for sharing this information! I am a p50 longtime user but have been somewhat overwhelmed with the product line in terms of adding... this has been very helpful!
    "If I'm living large in NYC might as well go big!" ;))) my motto for sure!!
    Question: as someone who just had a rosacea flair up for the first time I am having to re look at what I am doing skincare wise until it is "gone", when you are hit with a flair up do you discontinue your p50? What do you do? Also, I purchased the nuface about 3 months ago and have been using it consistently. After about a month I was ready to quit until I looked at my "before" photos. It has given me a subtle improvement that I am pleased with. I am now in the process of researching if I can use it with the rosacea issue and also if it may have caused the flair up. uggggg
    Thanks again for the great info, I am looking forward to the demo! Good luck with the surgery..

      Hello Stacy! I am so sorry to hear about your rosacea flair up. UGH is right. You know I feel for you. So when I have a flair up - I give my P50 a break for a few days until it settles down a bit. I use the milk cleanser - Lait Vip 02 and Pai Biogenerative Oil + Masque Vernix to sooth and calm the skin. I then add the P50 back in the routine once it has settled down a bit but not completely recovered and it seems to help. Oh man, I hope that the NuFace is not causing rosacea flare-up!! I heard that the gel broke someone out - thus my hesitation to buy one but I have heard great things about it. Keep me posted and I am sending you healing vibes!!!

      I have nuface and rosacea .. doesn't flare me out. cold weather does. I use P50 W, and I've mixed p50 PIGM as well. I love Amniotique E, serum yall, Creme VIP02, mask vivant , mask VIP02. I've tried creme biofixine, its just ok, VIP 02 serum just eh, le grand serum just eh... Colustrum smells and I didnt notice much.. splendide is the WORST as far as smell . I can take vivant.. but for some reason the creme and serum stink and linger overnite AND burn my face a bit. I'm tring elastin pure now so far not impressed but I just got it. I wanna try the mask visoltine? spelling.. so we'll see! my skin has never looked better and when i got a facial at OHM spa in NYC the girl said my skin looked great and had no clogs or gunk in pores so I got a moisturizing facial. I have very dry skin and trying to fight wrinkles =) hope that helps. I wont use any other prod but BR.. life changing...esp for rosacea IMO. Nuface does work... BTW... I dont use it every day... but I look better and more glowy esp if I follow with vivant , vip 02 mask, and serums..

    Hi Abby, I notice that you don’t post about BR as often, but focus more on chantecaille lately. Is that because chantecaille are sponsoring you, or you just prefer their products? Curious to know, if you had to choose, which brand you would choose between the two.

    • @AbbyBlissWhite
      @AbbyBlissWhite  2 года назад +2

      Good Morning Joseph! I still love BR products but also love Chantecaille as well as U Beauty and MBR. So truly I use a mix of products. I have been a long time Chantecaille lover and have used their entire line off and on for years. I am not sponsored by them but do happen to have a good friend -Angela Rogers within the company. So that is definitely a perk! But part of my job is to try out new products and skincare and such - so I tend to mix it up a bit. The two brands that I have used the most consistently are BR and Chantecaille. I hope this helps! xoxo

    I totally enjoy your informative beauty videos, but I don't think we women need all of these products - there's many drugstore products which are better for your skin and cheaper ? I only hear how others enjoy the product, not the ingredients/ what they do for the skin... Just saying.... Watch Dr. Dray's channel.

      Hello Candice! Thank you for watching. These are the products that are working for my skin currently and I have had struggles in the past with rosacea, so I am a bit of a skin care junkie figuring out what works for my particular skin. I have watched Dr. Dray before and appreciate her info and have learned a lot but also know that skin is very individual and you have to find out what works for you . xoxo
