I was lucky and stumbled on Mando Diao when “Bring ‘‘em In” came out. I heard “Sheepdog” at Tower Records in Santa Monica and I immediately grabbed the album. But, my god “Give Me Fire” is hands down a stone cold classic album. Every song is great, but there are some moments that are so frenetic and soulful that it transcends genre and is just spectacular. This is one of those songs.
100%. I always tell people, if I had to listen to only one album for the rest of my life it would be give me fire. Every song a banger and of course the sweet sweet nostalgia.
Heard this many years ago in a club and fell in love completely with the song. Couldn't find it for so long, then I loved to Sweden and discovered that it's their Homeland, one day when I was murmuring the song under my nose. Saw the band yesterday and they sound sooo good live! Thank you Mando Diao for this amazing music 💖

I've been looking for this song for sooo long! It makes me feel nostalgic.
I heard this song for the first time in 2009 in a portuguese tv show called "curto circuito". It was my favourite show and sometimes I recorded some episodes in vhs. today I watched some old vhs tapes and finally, 13 years later, with the help of shazam I found the song!!! I'm feeling so nostalgic and almost crying remembering the time when everything was happy and easier.

Genuinely, why is this band so underrated? :(
So funny story, this is my lockdown song. I sleep with music on, it’s calming, relaxing, and all that. Basically I woke up and I was still half asleep, and the start had begun and I found it so bizarre and catchy. The next day I completely forgot about the song until a few hours later it came on again in the car on the radio. Now it’s one thing to hear an old unfamiliar song twice, but it’s more weird to realise I’m Australian and they played a Swedish band on our radio. So I got home and I didn’t know the words so I couldn’t exactly look it up. About a week goes by, I once again forget about it yadda yadda, and in my Spotify discover weekly, there it was. This song right from the start had followed me, and ever since then it’s been on my playlist on repeat for ages now. Very rare I connect with a song like that
