Ive always loved this song. Robbie is a very underrated singer and song writer. He has the ability to sing about love in an ironic self deprecating way, yet you don't doubt the sadness expressed

This song for me has like some sad depressing undertone but still some motivating aspect in it as well. Really strange to explain but in the end of the song it makes you feel you have to believe u must believe and stay strong until all the lights go out! I remember when I was in my teens in early 2000's, I didn't know Robbie Williams at all.. but out of boredom I check out my uncle's CD of his concert in Knebworth and we are amazed how good his songs... from then on me and my sister always play the concert. and were fans of Robbie.. his lyrics in his songs are great and inspiring...
