*In the Optimized Settings segment, I highlited Low Environment Reflection as the best option, It was an error on my part and as I mentioned in the main video seagment, I still recommend High Environment Reflection quality, so keep it at High as it has negligable performance cost.

@@CosmicVoid420 exactly. Much better with that and with just telling me what I want to know. Sometimes digital foundry goes into the tech behind it and it’s super analytical. I’m like just tell me what setting to use and how much more fps I can get lol. I love them but sometimes it’s too much.

BenchmarKing, I wanted to say I really appreciate how you don't give out your personal opinion on Motion Blur or other post-process FX. I hate when the RUclipsr talking about the graphics says ignorant things about these graphical features and orders their audience to turn them off instead of just sticking to relevant information or being impartial. I watch these videos to get technical information, not subjective opinions or impartial agendas against graphical effects.
You're killing the benchmark/optimization stuff right now. Good stuff.
Amazing and very detailed video as always. But I want to share a side note for the last part of the video where you tested optimized vs ultra settings.
This game has much more intense and performance heavy scenes than it’s benchmark test unfortunately and it doesn’t give you the exact performance values for the worst scenarios in actual gameplay. If I speak about my setup, I was getting a stable +60-70 fps most of the time in the benchmark section but during the gameplay, in some really heavy scenes it dipped to the mid 40’s during gameplay.

Thanks for the settings ideas, Ubisoft has its downsides and anti-consumer stuff but when it comes to game optimization they are doing a good job most of the time compared to other companies nowadays, I'm playing at 1440p with Optimized settings and FG on and its around 80-100fps which is great for just a 4060 8GB, smooth experience with great quality.

Thanks a lot for this video! I personally use an RTX 3090 Ti, but even with such a beast, the game is hard to run at 1440p max settings. I was eager to see your optimization video since they're always the best to retain detail while boosting the frames. I will give them a try whenever the game gets more patches since I feel like it's a bit broken graphics and gameplay wise (as always with Ubisoft....).

Hey buddy, first thing first I love your work. I was curious to know if you would try the FSR3 mod for Cyberpunk. as fsr3 is now open source and the mod enable frame generation on RTX 2000 and 3000. Just a quick overview of the mod, not a huge and complete video as you do usually.
Really loved how you broke down each setting for the understanding of the viewers. What I hated is that I was listing down your settings as I was watching the video only to find out that you summarized your settings at the end of the video. I've deleted my list and took a screenshot instead.

Can you please make a review or an updated optimization video for the Witcher 3? Because I think the recent update 4.04, the performance improvement for DX12 is quite good.
Please, add (3060TI) to the titles of your videos so it's easier for 3060ti owners to find this amazing video.
You know what would be interesting? DOOM Eternal or DOOM 2016.
Everyone just cranks those games and doesn't worry about performance, but it would be nice to know what the performance impact of each of the settings actually is, especially when trying to get those titles to run on low end hardware.

What setting shouldI use on rx 7900xtx in 1440p to get a lock on 160 fps? I'm currently running fsr3 fg quality and a high preset with few settings bumped higher (volumetric clouds as the medium clouds were distracting).

Fantastic work - so no 'shame' running the game on Low - with some tweaks to High - you'd probably not notice anyway. Unlike older games, even in the FarCry series. Having played all the FarCrys , it was FarCry5 i could-not see any difference past Medium settings. I'll probably buy the game now.....Thanks
Quick question: In the main video segment for Environment Reflection Quality, you recommend keeping it at High. However, in the optimized settings recap, you recommend Low.
Since it has a negligible performance impact, I assume that you'd go with High for the essentially free visual fidelity, but figured I'd ask none the less. Would you mind clarifying? Thanks.

I maxed everything out, DLSS Quality, Fixed, Frame gen off. Motion blur off and it averages 99 fps on a 4080 with a 1440p monitor. Pretty good optimization imo.

hey bro i have a laptop with a 3050 60 watt and an i5-12500h but when playing with optimized settings at 1080p dlss quality i' see that the power usage significantly drops to lower 50's higher 40 and with huge fps drops despite that gpu usage is always close to 100% this problem often happens when i'm in the ground but when i'm i'm swinging in the air it didn't drop can you help me fixing it ?

So, this game doesn't have any texture quality preset? weird that they included so many options to tweak and no textures option.
standard vram this day is 6gb or 8gb. in the words, we reached peak graphics because texture is no longer an option to lower
