Yeah I love this guys stuff. He thinks of everything and unlike other utubers who get handed 4090s every week he uses hardware that most people actually use to do testing on.
Your videos bring me so much joy I cant even describe. Always feels like an event for me sitting and watching when a new one gets posted up. I wish only the best for you.
Splendid video! I have a very powerful PC but i know very little about it or graphic settings! It's really nice to have people who know their stuff help the rest of us out. Thank you!
After my friend with same graphics card as mine (RTX 4060 Mobile) shows that he gets 150fps at 1080P DLSS Quality with Ray Tracing I knew I had to optimise my game.
Ty for this guide ! 5800x 7900xt / 34" 3440x1440@165hz. Your setting and ray tracing with ray traced reflections, i got between 55-80+fps and it's beautifull ! Ty ! +1 sub :)
In my experience, The Level of Detail (LOD) got the biggest difference in hair detail. On Low the hair looks clunky, while on High it looks more silky. Other than that there's no significant differences.
But how, how do these thing mix together, should they even? Like, if you have path tracing on do you need anything else like ray tracing or other shadow options to be turned on, if you have ray tracing reflections are on you need screen space reflections even?? what about resoluution scaling options and Nvidia DLSS options, can you mix and match those or not or is it pointless, DLSS quality, ray tracing and ray reconstructin will that do anything?? Whats the best combination for your set up for these ray tracing options not just basic ones... thats what i want to know, not how one of them works in isolation but how do they all work in combination or dont work in combination with each others.
5:46 If you're playing in HDR you might wanna turn that to *High|* It likely smoothen its gradient as what I've seen playing it in HDR, but it's quite unnoticeable in most cases.
I was struggling with my gpu shutting off with cyberpunk didnt know why. The reason was that the Path Tracing was turned on by default. This meant that it was trying to accurately simulate everything and getting overloaded. I'd highly recommend people use standard raytracing until Path Tracing is more optimised.
This is the work of someone professional and really knows what's he's making 👍, pls keep up the great work 🤩 I'm gonna play this game for the first time 😢after three years of waiting 😏 , I had faith CDPR will fix it and yeah they delivered 💪 CDPR My fav game deverloper ever !!! 😍😍😍
You can sneeze even more performance if you look for performance mods on nexus. In fact, in the path tracing portion of the video 13:03 with these my 3070 @ 1440p does 40fps.
Guys let me tell you the ghosting from dlss and pathtracing is not worth it. I play in ultra rtx and with dlaa and the game looks way better without any ghosting
About Color Precision, it makes a big deal with something like fog and smoke. I recommend turning this to high. It also makes for less contrast with sunsets and such.
i'm a dummy but you really break down each setting and make it so easy to understand. you simplify it and actually kinda teach me what these settings specifically do. I appreciate you so very much!!! thank you! ♥
Thank you for another awesome video! Cyberpunk 2077 has surprisingly become one of my favorite games. Therefore I'm really thankful for your optimization guide.
Man, im just cant play without your guide. To me, youre like a religion hahaha. When you say "Turn it medium", i turn it in medium, because i know youre right. Just keep this good work!
😂 😂 😂 Even without rt it still look nice btw I'm currently playing the expansion on my rtx 3060 ti with some reshade mod & only rt reflection enabled @1080p high dlss quality minus the other rt to achieve a smooth & stable 60fps experience on my LG ultrawide with medium gpu usage to conserve thermal and yes to achieve similar pt looks you can use reshade such as magic bloom, dpx & unsharp mask and just tweak the shader to achieve similar pt lighting without any rt ghosting elements and can also use amd cas and gaussian blur together ( experiments based on your monitor ) to really smooth & enhance the image to get the best cinematic CGI looking visual if it's too oversharpen btw also turn on eye adaptation shader & set to 7 with Quints debanding & vignette together for best cinematic & Adaptive lighting for best results been playing any game with reshade for so long that I thinks it looks almost or on par with any ray trace lighting minus the performance hit Thanks for reading hope this helps cheers🥂 👌 👍 😉
I was enjoying these settings until the 2.01 patch. Now it seems I lose a lot more frames. Ray tracing off completely is the only thing that jumps it above 60 now.
I watch the second video of yours and I should say, they're just awesome. I always wanted someone who can guide through all the settings of game I currently play for maximizing visual but not paying by stability and lower performance. Thank you so much for your work! ❤
Thank you! Very useful video. The 1.6 I just used Nvidia geforce experience for auto optimization but with 2.0 It was so laggy. With your help i made it perfectly smooth 60+ fps 1440p +RT (3060 ti).
Do different RT settings have different performance impacts on the CPU like they do on the GPU? Sorry if I phrased that poorly. I remember when testing Control on my old PC that the CPU impact by enabling RT was lighter when just using RT Lighting or Shadows compared to the Reflections settings, and was wondering if Cyberpunk similarly used a simpler BVH when using lighter RT settings.
Activating the intel resolution scaling vs the Nvidia DLAA was actually a massive performance boost for me, I was at 51 average FPS with Nvidia and then went to 64 with Intel, 55 with local shadow and reflection ray tracing on ultra, having sun shadows ray tracing with the resolution scaling actually made those shadows in particular have way worse quality.
The LOAD is horrible on this Game. I never heared someone complaine so i tought its a problem that i do have, glad to see but also very dissapointing that its not fixed yet
Cyberpunk with 1000 FPS here is the Guide all settings on lowest and all things that are on make them out and lowest resolution u can get go in nvivdiacontrol panel make custom res 1x1 pixel thank me later and have fun
Super appreciative of your work. Good stuff my guy. Also! Thank you for explaining the game's LOD issues! I have pretty fresh eyes on the game and thought I was going nuts seeing all the pop in while driving around, despite my graphics settings. Cheers!
is it pointless to run dlss ray reconstruction without ray tracing? because right now we don't have to enable ray tracing/path tracing to enable ray reconstruction.
next guides please for games: Anno 1800, Diablo Immortal, FrostPunkt, Age of Wonders 4, Grand Theft Auto V, Mafia def. edition, Mafia II def. edition, Mafia III def. edition. I have an old laptop and I want to have the best possible quality without losing the smoothness of the game Legion Y-720 (4k), I usually have to play games at max. 2k because the graphics card is too weak geforce 1060 6gb, 24gb ram, i7-7700HQ
How you have around 80% CPU utilization? On my R7 5800X3D (and RTX 4070 Ti) it's 40 to 60% with SMT ON. Another question: did you have a FPS drop when show map, inventory, etc then back to game, when playing long time? When FSR 3.0 come to game I'm curious about comparison FSR 2.1 vs 3.0 :)
i have a rtx 3060 plus ryzen 7 3800x but cant seem to get max gpu usage. tried everything that i can think of, SMT on, overclocking , crowd density low but still my gpu is underutilized. even when i tried lowering the resolution , it gets down to 40%
I've made a few test with RT and those RT numbers are slightly wrong. Because of how RT works, it doesn't compound individually. RT shadows only cost 2% if you have RT reflection already on, for example.
It's a shame about the LOD on a lot of *new games and old new unfortunately. Dating back to 10 years, most LOD in games have slow texture quality loading, too many pop ins and outs which can kill the immersion at times.
XeSS and DLSS have good reflection quality yes way better then FSR 2.1 but they also have the shiimmeriing in the distance that is a NO go for me a NO go, if you look at a building and you see the cracks that was ment to be better when off, FSR dooes not have that problem and i found out inn XeSS annd DLSS if you have Words reclectinng you see Artefacts in them or around them, hard to not see if you saw it the fiirst time. FSR handle the Shimmering way better but the reflections are blurry it is okey but FSR has one big big downgrade and it is ghosting , if you drive a car you see your car how it is ghosting parts of it behind it and this is a big no go. Just play Cp in 1080p if your GPU cant handle 60fps, lower the graphic quality to mid or high if you still cant run at 60 fps. If it is stiill not doing well then lower the texture quality (you can do that in the main menu in the graphic settings not in the game itself) and wola you have native 60 frames per secound, you can turn on AMD's AFMF for sure it is helping alot because there are no real downgrades in that, your FPS goes lower if you turn very fast around multiple times but the game still feel smooth and no stutters or Visual downgraddes. ( you can turn on AFMF in the AMD driver if you have a Rx 6000 or 7000 series). You can use Frame generation from Nvidia too it helps. If you have Hardware that cant provide 60 smooth FPS without Raytracinng in 1080p and high settings then your PC is just too old and you can play the game at lower graphic settings because it is still better then to play it with DLSS ultra performance or performance it is looking disgustiing, with low graphic settings you see the game is having low graphic settings but with DLSS / FSR performance mode you just see how bad it is, it is even worse then Low quality mode. I really do not understand how people think that kind of downgrade in graphics are nice, just because they can say "i can play Cyberpunk 2077 in high/ultra settings with 60 fps" but it is lookinng even worse ?
bro ur videos are insane. thank u 4 that. But is it possible to lower the music volume when u top speaking. It is really loud in my opinion. BUT THANK U FOR ALL THE WORK.
These videos takes lots of time to make Please appreciate this man for giving us this knowledge if you don't want to give your hard earn money no Nvidia for latest GPU lik 40 series which is expensive and want to play with existing gpus 20 or 30 series with amazing performance and graphics keep it up man love your work
Actually i have cyberpunk 1.63 and every time i enable Raytraced Reflections and iam driving a car , the reflections on the car paint or streets are sooo Noisy and smeared badly , no matter if i use dlaa or dlss 🫤 Also i tried path tracing which it was tooo intensive for my gpu and still quite noisy compared to SSR Now u say the RR only works with path tracing 😵💫 So that means if i update my game to 2.0 i will still have the same noisy reflections that iam experiencing with 1.63 💔

i was going to say the same thing, i love his content so much cheers !
@@iAmTheBlueGuy Exactly 💯!
This man needs more subs, these videos are sooooo good. This takes a buttload of work.
Yeah I love this guys stuff. He thinks of everything and unlike other utubers who get handed 4090s every week he uses hardware that most people actually use to do testing on.
its true he's really good
Dude this is a sick video! So much depth and work behind it.
Even the edit is neat.
Thanks so much, im happy to be sub to your channel ❤
Your videos bring me so much joy I cant even describe.
Always feels like an event for me sitting and watching when a new one gets posted up. I wish only the best for you.
Ikr !
Splendid video! I have a very powerful PC but i know very little about it or graphic settings! It's really nice to have people who know their stuff help the rest of us out. Thank you!
the game is darker in the 2.1 update.
don,t like at all
any one notice ?!?!
Thanks! Always wait for your videos before trying a game.
Dlss frame generation is only available in 40 series card , but you had 30 series card then how you getting that option ?
I have a 3080 and i remember it being a bug it doesnt actually work? Idk
Going to give this a try after being bored of starfield
Playing this game again makes starfield even worse 😂
Took me less than an hour to get bored of Starfield.
Got my game running at a solid 60FPS on 1440p DLSS Quality with RT reflections. Cant ask for better than that thanks man!
Do you have the other ray tracing settings off?
After my friend with same graphics card as mine (RTX 4060 Mobile) shows that he gets 150fps at 1080P DLSS Quality with Ray Tracing I knew I had to optimise my game.

Awesome channel. I follow you since quite a time and you are one of the best optimized pc guides on youtube.
Keep your work up. Greeds
Optimized Settings (Left side) vs Ultra Preset (Right side) - аre the sides correct?
Nope , I made a mistake , thank you for pointing that out 😅
Can you make a new video off the 2.1 version with the new graphic config?
Thank you for another awesome video!
Cyberpunk 2077 has surprisingly become one of my favorite games.
Therefore I'm really thankful for your optimization guide.
Thank You!
My settings that I am plying on is dlss quality with frame generation ultra settings with psycho ray tracing 😁
Lol why are you searching for optimized settings. Obviously you are searching for something 😂
Man, im just cant play without your guide.
To me, youre like a religion hahaha.
When you say "Turn it medium", i turn it in medium, because i know youre right.
Just keep this good work!
same here
uuh spoke my mind. he is valuable benchmarker😊 im enjoying my i7 12700 n 3070 combo

Awesome guide thank you! Should I disable SSR and AO if I enable RT? Or does RT override SSR and AO options?
Yeah pls tell us
Can't wait for your Fsr 3 video

Thank you so much for your work! ❤
We need AC mirage optimized sittings
I'm working on it
What value would you recommend having for DLSS sharpness?
Thank you! Very useful video. The 1.6 I just used Nvidia geforce experience for auto optimization but with 2.0 It was so laggy. With your help i made it perfectly smooth 60+ fps 1440p +RT (3060 ti).
what rt settings do you use ?
The King has spoken 👑👑
Melhor canal de benchmark do RUclips!
Valeu, amigo!
Bro studied CP2077 settings
Should I turn off those shadow and reflection setting if im using ray tracing?
actually the 1st guide that truly helped...im always over 60 now, thanks for the guide.

5:49 uhh medium is more intensive than high but we should use medium?
Doing gods work right here! I’m using a 2060 and some how you made it run butter smooth

I'm a simple man, BK post his settings and I copy them. Really thx!
Bro please please please make an optimal settings guide for AMD Adrenalin! I have a 7900XT but idk what to pick
are u dummy or what, i got same GPU and its beast on all ultra, what are you talking about, got a pair with r7 5800x3d btw
Best video ever
The LOAD is horrible on this Game. I never heared someone complaine so i tought its a problem that i do have, glad to see but also very dissapointing that its not fixed yet

All i want to say is thank you for great work
Does anyone have problem with AA on Radeon cards? On mine Rx 6600 Xt game looks bad with edges an surfaces shimmering... any help AMD users!!??
AAAAh the video I was waiting for. You are a legend. Such amazing video quality! So informative and to the point. Much much love

POV: you watching this even though you play on Xbox Series S 😂
So if I use Ray Traced reflections do i need ssr on?
is it pointless to run dlss ray reconstruction without ray tracing? because right now we don't have to enable ray tracing/path tracing to enable ray reconstruction.
A special petition if you active hdr make a improvementnof 1 or 2fps in most of the Game, great work❤

Nothing has impact on FPS, turns everything to Ultra gets low FPS XD

U are amazing! I always try to reach stable 60fps with my rtx 3060 12gb in 1080p and ur guides help me a lot, specially rdr2 and cp2077

Actually i have cyberpunk 1.63 and every time i enable Raytraced Reflections and iam driving a car , the reflections on the car paint or streets are sooo Noisy and smeared badly , no matter if i use dlaa or dlss 🫤
Also i tried path tracing which it was tooo intensive for my gpu and still quite noisy compared to SSR
Now u say the RR only works with path tracing 😵💫
So that means if i update my game to 2.0 i will still have the same noisy reflections that iam experiencing with 1.63 💔
Before this video
My only optimisation guide is the decibels of my fan
Listening to this video got me from 60ish to about 144 on a 3070. HELL YEAH. See you all in Night City.
Why is SSR so "noisy" in this game, i have to crank it up to ultra just to remove it on native 1080p. I didnt notice ssr noise on witcher 3...
Thank you Finally I attained the quality that I want, as I'm struggling to get a good optimization in my 4k monitor without losing so much fps. As vanilla ulttra settings for me I feel like something is wrong as it's not that look great but with your optimization It's now much much better Thank you so much!
I have granulated option off because I don't like it and whenever I turn on ray reconstruction whole graphics before heavily grained during night scene.
Hey man I think your examples are backwards, ie showing low where high is supposed to be, and high where low is supposed to be.
Told a friend of mine that your updated settings would probably be up within a few days. I was right 😎
I have an i3 10100f and rtx 3050
And the game keep getting drop frames on 1080p of the cpu usage 😢
I hate clouds, so i turn off Volumetric Cloud Quality, and thank god this game allow's me to delete clouds, i hate them uterly
uh, its a decent video, but people comparing settings miss a lot of things, you cant just test thing like color precision looking at one scene and calling it a day cause u didnt see anything in one scene, it creates colour banding in the sky (that was just one example but there are more in this vid)
TOP G man great video
If I use rt reflections I can turn off ssr?
Also overdrive (path tracing) provides all of the regular rt settings in one setting? Reflections , shadows etc. Or do I need to enable the rest of the rt settings for it to work?
For me, on a 3080 @ 4k...the main FPS hit comes from RT and DLSS. DLSS Quality to Performance give me 20 FPS but yeah, it's not as pretty.
Farm simulator 22 next please mate that would be amazing
I don't have texture quality under my settings, can someone help? I already tried re-installing the game
there is a bug with ray traced reflection where skin on character become so shiny during dawn and dusk which is quiet annoying and immersive breaking.
Gosting is still very large, with rays of RR that spoils the picture during the game, but for a photo will do if no one is not twitching)
Your English accent like moroccan people , nice videos keep going
