I had this recommended last summer by a guy who used it for a few years, then I came across your review. I especially like the option to replace the bladder. How many bladders did you go through over the years and why did you swap them? Damage or taste or ...?
Can definitely see the pros and cons of this product, but overall, for what it does, the benefits outweigh the negatives, so its a worth while investment indeed! I stumbled upon your channel when searching for a review, so glad I did, started watching your other videos too, makes me want to travel back to Europe again. Keep up the great work mate, its inspiring. Cheers from Queensland Australia 😁
Cool review, thanks! You could hang it upside down to get it completely dry, that's what I do with my bladders. And if they begin to smell a little bit I wash them out with warm water and a small squeeze of lemon juice, seems to work well 😁
I tried it upside down, man, the blood ran to my head, and the lemon juice made my eyes water, ......oh, wait!, .....THAT bladder, not MY bladder........ 😊😃🙂
I don't know if I mentioned it, but it has a really nice flow 😂😂😂 I'm trying to decide my water carrier for car camping.. I was thinking I could use this with some powerful magnetic hooks or even tying it to the roofbar.. but maybe a traditional collapsible is easier? what do you think?
If you have the room and the carrier is not getting stressed too much, then the pack tap would maybe be to expensive. But if you are gonna tie it up, then my experience with the traditional containers is that they come with poor mounting options. And the pack tap has great options for hanging 😊
You are welcome. Depending where you are living. I'm living Sweden, so here's a link to where I would buy it www.xxl.se/sea-to-summit-sts-pack-tap-extrablasa-10-liter-svart/p/1126810_1_style

Thanks man! It's comments like yours that makes the work all worthwhile.

Yeah that's also kind of what I'm doing. Didn't know about the lemon juice though 😅👍

@@OutdoorVisuals Thanks :)
👍
I find the lid is really hard to get off. No thread on lid.
Yes it sits tight
they are heaps cheaper now . I got a 6 liter one for kayak camping to save room in my kayak , now I can carry more water and stay out longer
Sea to Summit is an Australian brand, from WA. This seems to be based on the country's famous 'Goon Bag'
the cap is very hard to get off to fill it up
How did you open it?
Hello, thanks for the video ! Do you have an internet link to buy the replacement mylar pocket? Thanks!

Thanks for the review. How do you clean the bladder?
You are welcome 😁
I just fill it with water and dish soap. Then I take out the bladder from the nylon, fill it with air and hang it to dry
@@OutdoorVisuals Thank you!!
You are welcome 😊
@@OutdoorVisuals how do you take out the blader? Thanks for the good vids.
I don't separate it from the cover. But there's a zipper on the side that opens up in to the bladder. Then I just drag it out from there.
Nice, well done review. Did you mention the flow. 8-)
Thank you
Haha I might have forgot. I'll make a new video ASAP 😝
Thank you, I'm glad you found it useful 🙏
Nice container. Very useful. I always use my CamelBak when I'm outside walking, but it can't store that much :)
It is very useful. Yeah I also have a bladder like the camelbak, but it's too small for most trips 🙂
Just in case anyone has not said this. store it in the freezer. prevents everything from growing.
Wow! Great gear!
Yeah I'm still happy about it
It seems like a good investment! 👍
I'm happy with it 😊
Cool review, great video's as alway
Thank you very much Roger 🙏
Great 👍
Glad to hear 😁
Are you a Ukraine man.
No I'm a Danish man
@@OutdoorVisuals how you doing, I’m in the Adirondack mountains in upstate NY, near Lake Placid. Have you ever hiked here?
I'd suggest no taste alone makes these worthwhile.
