For years I’ve been disappointed at how the GT500 5.2 gets out performed by the 5.0 in head to head mod for mod competition. I don’t know if it’s the 5.0s A10 or how the 5.0 can make gobs of power with the simplest of upgrades but very very disappointed.
Well they are completely different engines, with the 5.0 Coyote being a more traditional engine. The Predator 5.2L is a flat plane crank motor more commonly found in Supercars. Both are great, but for different reasons. Those flat crank motors sound amazing screaming at redline, whereas the Coyote powerband is completely different and much lower in the rpm range. Cheers

The issue isn't the 5.2. The limitation on the 2020+ GT500s is the DCT.

BMW offers 7 year warranty on factory cars.

I personally think that the only people who would bring this up are those who aren't confident in their driving skill, and if not than you aren't confident in others, which is fair enough. Tho as long as you do have good driving skills this wouldn't be hard to drive at all.
