Another tip on finding neutral. I've been battling that for 30 years 🙂 Of course the EVO, TC, and M8 all require a little different finesse. On my 2023 I have found it very easy. Starting from first gear, shift up to second. Then just gently tap the toe shift down out of 2nd, it usually always hit neutral. The engine should be running. Test it out.
I have a small bike and I usually struggle to put it on neutral when stationary, I have to move it back and forth a little to hopefully do so, and it's always impossible to do it when it's on first I usually put on second and then lower to neutral, I don't seem to find the correct clutch cable adjustment. I've bought a new cable, the lever that pulls the clutch from the engine and new oil but still.
I’m Having the same issue . The bike neutral very easy with the engine not running, but if the engine is running and I pull the clutch then try to neutral it will not
@@snuckz8 It's clutch adjustment. Sometimes u need to adjust both the cable from the lever that comes from the engine all the way up to the clutch lever. I replaced both that lever that comes from the engine and also the cable. And I adjusted the lever u pull with the hand and it's not perfect but it does engages the neutral more easily when on. Make sure none of that stuff is loose. The lever has like a knob u twist in order to adjust the cable. Mine is not perfect but it does engages it now. Though it struggle to do so when on first I usually have to put in on 2nd and then lowere to neutral when stationary but the engine on. Now I need to replace the lever and that knob itself to hopefully leave it perfect. At least I'm relieved is not the transmission. Just simple adjustment.

@snuckz8 clutch adjustment, 90w140 trans oil and try neutral when bike is still rolling whil stopping this should help
I also find neutral easier when still moving 👍
💯 rhis helps a lot, definitely agree
I came to this video because it takes me too long to get into neutral when I stop 😭
Hope it helps. I try to change gear while coming to a stop and updated to heavy 90w140 oil it works like a dream
terrible video
