Of course, stage 1 means aspiration kit and exhaust kit (if i remember correctly) so, talking about engine, more air, more fuel + big exhaust, more combustion I think that it's "normal" also because the indicator, is in that moment, and the rpm are different (i suppose)
I had a 2011 320d for 10yrs remapped from 161 to 220hp. Did over 100,000 miles in it & sold at 193,000 still running like a dream. Also incredibly economical.
@@louis7506 I had it remapped by Quantum Tuning in UK. The engine has great potential for remapping - the guy that did it said the engine could produce more power but it would push the clutch & transmission too close to their limit.
For the people saying it was too slow on the original one: this just happens with a lot of these cars. I know the 0-100 from factory is a lot faster. Mine was really as slow as the video on the right aswell. At 290k dpf light came on, had it removed and put a downpipe instead and now it pulls way better. Car was maintained well under my ownership, and service history was quite good. It just happens. Look at the bmw e90/e91 pov drives on YT, you'll see a lot of them not getting full power. Which is often the case with a car on that mileage.
just as all the other old used bmw's with who knows how many owners. Now the car is toasted, engine and gearbox didn't hold up and broke down and made no sense to repair.
You do not achieve 7.5 seconds 0 - 100 km/h in 318d with 143 hp. It does the 0 - 100 km/h in around 8.8 - 9 seconds. 320d with 177 hp does 0 - 100 km/h in around 7.5 - 7.7 seconds. The car in the video does not have the advertised power, or it has some injection problem or sensor related, or he did not step full throttle.
@@zndpElias05 ikd where u from, but in Latvia cars start with 250k ++ and no problem. Fix it up if needed and it'll be allright. My XC90 has almost 400k and does stage1 without any issues for a long time already

You have some engine problem, either DPF related, or your fuel rail does not hold sufficient pressure, or turbo wear, or combination. Or you did not step on it full throttle. With 210 hp you should have gone in 6.5 s at least, because around 7.5 seconds is achieved with the 320d 177 hp engine.
I got 177 hp one and it feels "fast" and has plenty tourque etc for my taste but I would not say it can go 7.5. That is on paper and its 0-60 mph while in its advertised 0-100km (or 0-62 mph ) something like 8.3 I think, and seen people hitting like 8.3-8.8 times.
👍Stage 1 is carrying half a tank more fuel too.

M47 is a very very strong engine, just treat it well and it'll support a remap
the m47 is unkillable, had it mapped from 210 to 300k.
