YOU ARE AN INCREDIBLE TEACHER!! You have a gentle voice that makes me WANT to hear more and learn as much as I can from you. You make your videos easy to watch and make total sense so anyone will learn. Thank you and I will be watching more!! 😊

    Oh my gosh is this a fabulous video. You are an exceptional teacher, not only because you explain things so well, but the little tips that are sprinkled in to make an appliqué technique go from what a beginner would do to how a professional would handle it, are wonderful. On top of that, your tips are very easy to follow and practical. You are a Bernina angel. Have some housework to do before I can sit down at my own machine just to try out your tips - which means I will be watching again as I was unloading my dishwasher while watching this😊. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.❤

    This is the first time I’ve seen your channel. I really enjoyed it. I wish there was someone like you that would teach how to use the embroidery feature on a Bernina QE 440 machine. I bought the machine several years ago, and the embroidery feature came with it as a bonus because they were changing models. I hadn’t even considered embroidery before. I wish it wouldn’t have even came with it because it has cost me quite a bit of money on patterns and such that I don’t even know how to use. Of all the you tube channels I have watched, no one teaches how to embroidery with this machine in detail like you did. Very good job. Yes if you know anyone that knows how to teach the 44 QE talk them into making a RUclips.

I’m not sure what you did to get it to tie knot at beginning of sewing but I’m hoping I can figure it out. I have 30 butterflies ready to appliqué and feel it will go much better now. Yesterday was full of tears, frustration and failure. New day and Gina to the rescue! ❤️

    Thank you for your lesson on applique. I have a major amount of applique to do on a hunting quilt -- lots of grasses and trees with individual branches. When reducing my stitch length and width to get a very tight applique stitch, I get bunched stitches underneath and then the fabric no longer moves --- it just sits there and more stitches pile up on top of each other for a REAL mess. I hate to lengthen width and length of the stitch because I want my satin stitch to really be solid -- one of the fabrics frays a lot. What do I need to do to prevent this bunching of stitches? Thank-you for your help. Colleen

    Thank you. I learned a lot with your video. 1 question. Do you use the blind appliqué stitch on designs that are pointed and have a lot of corners?

    • @ginasberninasewingcenter2375
      @ginasberninasewingcenter2375  3 года назад +1

      Absolutely Cheryl. The stitch is very tiny and works well on corners. The stitch itself has 5 straight stitches and one zig zag. You can adjust the stitch length to bring those zig zags closer together so turning a corner is easy. I also sometimes use stitch #3 on my Bernina which is actually an overlock stitch but the difference is that there are only three stitches between the zig zags. Adjust the width and length for the desired look and you have two stitch choices to choose from.
