The tips in this video really allowed me to understand how to balance substantial wood furniture pieces with other materials and colors in a room. I had watched a ton of other designers' videos, but could never fully grasp what they were saying. You have such a gift for explaining concepts in a way i can truly absorb. I love the details you’ve explained about the custom pieces of furniture, such as combining leather and velvet materials to create luxury and coziness. A simply stunning home. The difference made with subtle details that allow a room to shine are amazing. I recently subscribed to your channel after first hesitating. I love modern and transitional style and I don't see much of that on your channel. HOWEVER, the level of luxury and ingenious design solutions along with the way you explain concepts and why you do what you do, lends itself to any style. You go much further in depth than any of the other channels I've seen, and even though I may not have the high end budget I can truly get a high end look. You have an incredible eye for original designs and attention to detail in everything you do. Thank you so much for explaining design to us and not just spouting a bunch of rules to follow.

Homes should not look like institutions. I can't imagine people sitting around with a mug of coffee in pyjamas reading. The red wall was much better than the replacement.
Lack of imagination is not a reason to disapprove of a life style. Try to imagine it broadens your view.
The joinery/carpentry in this apartment is excellent. Not so keen on those massive leather arm chairs though.
We don't get to see the room because the camera is on her.
I loved other houses shown by you. But somehow for this house the wooden finish and asthetics of the rest of the house were not matching.
Too much grey, too much chrome, and a black leather settee to accent the antique bookcase? - not a very warm feeling. The apartment feels cold and sterile.
Im sorry, but gray I feel like there are much better colours that could be chosen...
She didn't have much to work with given the antique and brown woods.
The apartment = great. The books = great. The furniture = great. The art work.........uhm...... not so much.
Beautiful however I hear a lot of “I” didn’t like this or “ I “ didn’t like that . It’s no longer the esthetic of the OWNER but that of the interior decorator.
The curtains stopping a half-foot from the floor is an amateur distraction.
hi. keen eye, there is actually a ledge that sticks out further than the overhead bulkhead would allow us to extend the drapes. as a professional we need to work around existing architecture to provide the best solution for the clients

I wish the camera person would showcase more of the beautiful living space instead of twirling it around so quickly. I would really have liked to see your paneling above the foyer door. Camera person is mostly zoomed on presenter and not as much the beautiful home details.

All of the rooms seem cluttered. This is what I'd imagine a wealthy hoarder's home would look like.
