Huge thank you for mentioning how dramatic these plants are. You were not kidding! Bought a wilted one with every leaf on the ground for cheap, and hours after watering it jumped back as if nothing happened.

I just bought my first waffle plant...from the clearance section. Mine didn't wit, it was very crisp and dried out, but it's been cleaned up and is growing & blooming, but it's gone wide before tall lol...

I’m a new plant parent and have been told to use Neam oil?? Thank you for the information. I snagged up a Snow White waffle plant and a purple waffle plant at lowes for 4$. I pretty much water boarded them thinking they to dry. But you gave me some really good insight. Lol gonna let them dry out a little bit and start listening to them lol

I use a mister spray bottle and mist the leaves on mine every once in a while

you can as long as you dry it well because the crevices in the leaves may cause water build up, and eventually rot

    They do need humidity.

They do not NEED humidity. I own one and it is doing fine with my normal room levels. I have no devices for it.

Might be your soil! It could be draining right through and not reaching any of the roots ❤ try putting it in a bowl of water to suck up through the bottom and pour water on top. Make sure it gets a good soak, then see a week later how the soil feels
