Oh thank you for mentioning how commonly these are labelled as Calatheas. Mine just came home with a Calathea Rufibara ticket... Deep dived a bit and found this is my plant! Thank you for the clear info!
Great point about the leaf curling. I'd noticed mine would curl if it was a sunny day. At the same time it would curl on some nights, but not all. Which made no sense. I figured it out. Too much sunlight = curl. Too little water = curl. Thanks for confirming my own conclusions. Very easy to misread the plants warning signs.
Great video! I just bought one of these from Home Depot in a glass pot full of just water, am I supposed to keep it in the water or plant it in soil? Thanks!
Great info! Picking up my Princess Dalya on Monday and trying to find out as much as possible before I bring my new pink baby home! 🥰

Best info I’ve ever found… been looking for a couple of years. 🌿
Amazing plants, thanks for showing! 👍😃💚
Very good my friend
My question is, what if they have been already been potted in normal soil? How do I add perlite and moss now?

Have you figured it out yet? Cause my husband just bought one the same way
