QT! For real right now... I have been watching you since you were 15k subscribers. I am a silent enjoyer but have watched you grow which is absolutely amazing to see! I remember when everything was "Hoooooly", "Soooo bombs" etc. and you used to burn your mouth on everything :D You used to have that wooden "plate" - I fondly remember watching the Germany episode way too many times. Please do German again. But to continue - it is so amazing to see you with your wife now. And here actually being in the videos - putting in the effort to learn english to be part of what you do. It is absolutely beautiful. And I remember those serious talks when you were talking about not having a GF - how difficult it was to find a nice girl. I am so happy for you and her - I don't even care if you are in Canada or in Vietnam. I just love watching you for many years and hopefully many years to come. If you want to travel at some point I would be more than happy to show you some parts of Germany!
The second dish your wife tried is called SINIGANG. It’s a sour based dish comprised of mainly a pork as a protein and a butt load of veggie. It’s not to everyone’s liking and can’t judge wife for that. Heck, I was disgusted with Filipino style spaghetti for months! Now I love it! The greens in the Sinigang, is kangkong or water spinach.
As a kid, rarely you'd see Filipino restaurants in the Philippines. Usually, restos are international. Then came Barrio Fiesta restaurant. Place was always packed. Kare Kare and Crispy Pata are the combos that you'd always find on tables.

As for the palabok, the creaminess does not come from the egg, it’s part of it but mainly used for the “effects”. I wish Jollibee was close to where you guys are, but would be nice if wife could enjoy the mouth watering crispy fried chicken and their pancit palabok.
