Pretty pattern, I like that it doesn’t curl, you just read your stitches for the repeat and knit away. Thanks.

*It’s a great idea to knit a blanket and send it to Australia. We are 5 days into 2020 and the country is burning down. Half a billion animals have tragically died, and blankets are being accepted for the animals that barely managed to escape but got sent to veterinary centres.*

Beautiful pattern, I went to your website for written pattern but I didn't understand why all odd rows are missing. Can you please explain. Thanks

Hi Sarah, I’m glad you like it! I used 4.5 mm and cotton yarn for this size of needles 😘

Try with a small swatch. Cast on only 9 stitches, watch the video and stop it at the end of every row. Then, count your stitches and check that everything is ok. Repeat the process until finished. You can also check the written instructions below the video. Or maybe, start with an easier stitch (that has less rows to repeat). A similar yet easier stitch is the Little Checks. Or try one of those that have only 1 or 2 rows 😉

Thank you so much... I just recently got back into knitting , I’m making this scarf right now...You say to bind off after a 14th row, so once I get my desired length and finish row 14 should I do a row one and bind off in that row? Thank you so very much...
