He used to get fucked sometimes the night before his fights, then he'd come in hungover and still give it his all haha. If you haven't read his book I highly recommend it. He's had a wild life
Mark will always be one of my favourite fighters of all time for reasons like that. He's one of them old school dudes that doesn't want the glory or attention, he just wants to get his cash and go back to his family

Junior brained Mark. It happens if a fighter takes on everyone put in front of him. Look at Chuck's record. Some guys are just fun to watch. For me, started with Wanderlei.
To be able to drop Nelson is probably the most impressive thing of all. That dude has such a great chin, a true testament to Hunt’s power. Wish he was still in the win column. Imagine if he could’ve dropped to light heavy 😳
It's all in the legs. Mark Hunt gets a huge amount of power from those tree trunks he stands on. The big sturdy legs also compliment the chin. Slow and methodical, solid frame and powerful shots. This dude was blessed with attributes made for the sport, always will be one of my favorite fighters.
Just a quick thank you for the music choice for this vid, so much more effective than something like Let the Bodies Hit the Floor. Mark Hunt most confident ko walk away ever
It's like everytime he lands he knocks people out, and he just knows peoples chins can't handle that power and just walks off knowing the job is done. What a truly awesome fighter, I have allways enjoyed his fights and especially his vicious knockouts. We love you Mark!
His body is built so much better for fighting than the average person, yet he himself looks like an average person, not a fighter. If he can do this to professional fighters, imagine what would happen if your average thug tried to pick a fight with him. He's the perfect trap. Looks out of shape, is barely over average height, and yet you could hit him square in the jaw with your hardest punch and he'll just shrug it off and knock you out with the first punch he throws. Of course, he still looks fairly big, strong, and tough compared to the average person, but he's a lot more dangerous than he looks! His incredible ability to take a punch was the most memorable thing about him. Training can only do so much. Most fighters wish they had half the chin this guy had.
"Looks like an average person" ????? He's about three times the size of the average person ! He doesn't look out of shape at all, he's got decent love handles but his stomach is pretty much flat, and look at those shoulders and traps, all his back in general, that's the back of a very strong man..
The way he just walks away after a knock out , its like a guy that works in a steel shop and just heard the quitting buzzer sound after he just punched in his last rivet of the day .
@@el34glo59 it's not about the power, it's the intent. You're right, if you lined up boxers of the same weight class and have them hit something that records force, they'd probably be similar. But it's clear from the fights that some guys have a gift for knocking dudes out.
