My ex was from Spain. This video reminded me of her. In my experience, people are really nice and polite in Spain. Majority of them don't know how to speak English but they will still try to communicate with you because they are very friendly. Girls speak really fast. Her mother is very important If you want a serious relationship with her. She's not 'playing games', If she loves you, she'll let you know that. Other thing I remember was her English with that Spanish accent which was unforgettably funny. 😂 Each summer they like to go to Benidorm. We loved each other so much and our connection was so strong but unfortunately It all ended, mainly because we were in a long distance relationship. However, a great memories. I haven't spoken to her since we broke up. I hope she's good and happy.

I am Italian and my Fiancée is Spanish from Andalusia ("Malagueña salerosa"!). Something I have noticed is: once you are in a relationship with a Spanish lady, you will be invited to countless weddings! xD Moreover, there are a couple of things she always wants to do: eat 12 grapes with each clock bell strike to welcome the New Year, in instance, (it doesn't matter whether we are not in Spain: she will try to make the others at the party do the same). In general, Spanish ppl seem to take their traditions way more serious than the Italians (they have the Reyes Magos to bring Xmas presents to the kids! nowhere else in Europe that happens!).
Listen, I am Puerto Rican-American, I can definitely say this shit applies to Puerto Ricans as well. The only thing missing is the salsa dancing on the dance floor and the kitchen/living room.

Oh yes, Europe is anything but homogeneous, right down to the county level. But you manage to make it work every time! It's fun, it's colorful, and it shows how any cultural difference can be turned to the couple's advantage. I am definitely looking forward to the French one. :D
I've been expecting this episode for ages. I feel like when first you read the novel and then the film comes and you watch it and know a lot that is not explained in those few minutes on screen, of course it doesn't mean the episode is bad. There are a lot more about them and believe me: they are a treasure! ;)
It was a difficult feat making this episode. Spain is too diverse to say something general and I find Spanish women really difficult to characterize so I was only able to pick a few points. Wish I could have gone deeper with it as I can with certain cultures

After watching this I think I just realised my mother is more Spanish than we thought. Did a dna test she got 73% European Jewish. Forget that, she defiantly has more of my grandfathers blood in her than my grandmother. Because he was from Spain and my grandmother is German-Slavic. - They are too straightforward( I respect but sometimes it makes me angry, It's not wrong to be straightforward, but the words should be softer)
- They like 18+ (it's like when I date them, they'll ask me "do you want to do something with me??”, ok I know in Spain this is normal but I'm not comfortable talking about it😅🙂🙄)
- English with Spanish accent( I was really stressed when I spoke English with them so I decided to speak only Spanish😂😂)
BUT......they are friendly and kind, polite😘☺
