Coming along nicely Derek, only thing I'd change (from personal experience) is the extraction - an in-line fan with much better extraction and reliability paired with insulated ali ducting. I chose a standard coax fan through the wall and regret it every day 😂
I'd maybe switch to insulated flexible ducting for the loft. You might get some condensation travelling back down the inside of that plastic flexi in the depths of winter. Looking very good though. 👍 You'll start to see it come together when you get the tiles on next. 😊
As a joiner and builder I'd have dropped the ceiling and started again.... It is clear the previous builder was crap. If I had done it there would be a perimeter noggings all round 50mm from the edge.... And I have seen ceilings collapse as a result of people keep coming and over boarding.
so you are putting up your own lights in a wet zone, we can assume you are not part p registered, so you are no different to the man that replaced parts on his boiler. you are non compliant
Getting there step by step, stage by stage!😊

can we also assume you are part H when you fitted you toilet
If there was such a thing I out trump it being a qualified plumbing and gas assessor and being a member of WIAPS so guess I am qualified.
Fit a hand douche next to the toilet, saves on toilet paper and added long term health benefits too.
I can’t because I am direct of the cold mains so I would be breaking water regulations.
@@tomkatgastraining Fit a non return valve on the cold feed supply to the douche.
@@ranat5526 you can’t use a non return valve for fluid category 5
There Joists not Trusses
No it’s not it’s part of the roof structure frame work so it’s a truss
@@tomkatgastraining Its a ceiling Joists, the truss sit on the wall plate
@@keithbrueton nope it’s a truss like your plumbing knowledge you have no clue
