I'm curios as to how long this took you to do, I'm about to redo my bathroom and was just wanted to get an idea for my bathroom.
Nmv, I just realized that you had the days in the corner of the video. Love your videos :)
Nice ! Well done
Are you near New York State ? Single mother and I need help 😮
How much did they pay you?
The fact you did this all alone is absolutely amazing. Fantastic work and inspirational!
It is very stupid to destroy all the things in the bathroom, they could have been give to somebody who needed them.
@@Blox_fruit_master1One guy ain’t getting all that out of the bathroom in one piece. He literally said that which is why he destroyed the cabinets and stuff. It costs a good amount of money to renovate a whole bathroom anyways. You might as well buy new accessories at that point instead of getting hand-me-downs that probably won’t go with the style of bathroom you’re trying to make.
All these "modern," white, hospital looking, barren ass bathrooms are literally the furthest thing from "inspirational."
@@Blox_fruit_master1 nah u stupid😭
I doubt he did the shower enclosure alone or at all because he didn't show any video of it, at minimum that's a two man job to put that glass in. the glass install probably cost around $3000 or more. probably closer to 5k and probably took around 3 or 4 hours to put in minus the curing time for the silicone.
Brilliant work. No music. No nonsense. Just raw talent! Well done mate.
No music?
def music
uh.. i mean there literally is music
I did construction growing up with my dad. One thing I really admire is your consideration for the customer. Yes, some things cost money, like all the screws you used. The sponges in the vents to keep the dust out was just a small detail but a great one.. You did it so there wouldn't be problems later....that kind of stuff I really noticed and appreciated. You have great narration and explanation throughout. Thorough and done right! Keep going man, excellent stuff!
Right! I helped a friend and I can’t stress this enough that prep work and proper PPE is so important. Yes you lose it on some extra time but save you so much more nuisance in the end.
YES!!!
excellent, professional work. I'm the guy that goes back in and fixes all the sloppy shower installs. I dont see any failures on this shower anytime soon. Again great work.
I had my master bathroom done and it was half of the space you just completed and I was charged $15,000.00. That’s not including the price of tile, vanity, lighting, etc. I think you are awesome! I would have hired you in a heartbeat if it was possible
5000 dollars in Serbia man... And done better you can be sure
@@jorgovan-ni9kzin Congo more cheap. Place is important.
@@8uoo5 in Turkey more cheaper only 1000 dollars for working and 2000 dollars for other things
nobody cares what's it cost in serbia or turkey you donkeys
cant compare in different locations. cost of living is crazy ny or los angeles. definitely charge alot more in those area.
As a contractor who also does projects like this, this guy is definitely very skilled! I see alot of guys who post videos like this except they do alot of the work incorrectly. This guy makes it look easy! Gotta give props when due
Honestly I've been putting off remodeling my bathroom because I feel like it would be an insurmountable task, but seeing you do it one-man-army style, I got inspired to finally take the plunge and get started! Great work and really impressed with how this job turned out!
There is black stuff in few places on that pink stuff, is not that mold you would want to remove if not all.
Remodel is a beast itself as you will discover new findings and more things to fix so depending on age/condition, be aware. Helping a friend renovate as he was already started demoing. I pointed out dry rot from roof leak, rotted 2x4 with mold, possible leak failure with Cooper, and uneven 2x4. It’s important to consult with a contractor to understand current code as well.
Good luck! If you have the time you can def do it!
If you want your bathroom done and live in this area, hire this guy immediately! He is providing immense value for the quality of the finished project. Catch him before he deservedly raises prices!!!
Haha thanks!
For the quality and care he provides at the prices he's charging he's probably booked out a year in advance.
How are you only charging $11,500 for labour?!?!?! That is insanely cheap... Too bad ur not in Saskatoon... The quality of work you do is worth so much more. Keep up the amazing work!! You definitely get a "Like"!!!
I do same work in same area and most customers are not willing to pay that much that’s why us contractors have to give a reasonable price
Made almost 100k last year which is good for my area. I bring this up only to say for 11k I'm learning to do as much of this stuff myself as I can. Op must be rich
Thank you! My business isn’t even a year old so I wanted to keep my prices low initially to learn and build a portfolio. Now that I’m more confident in my work I’ve begun to slowly increase my prices and will continue to do so over time
@@Brownkilla It depends on the customer type. Rich customers will pay a lot for quality.

Beautiful work: the workmanship, the way you minimized dust and damage to the house, the bathroom itself, the video, and narration. Awesome job!

I just want to say that I randomly stubled upon this video, but the effort and time you put into this is absolutely amazing.
I know nothing about renovating, or anything you did in this video, but I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of it.
Keep it up Wolkon, you'e going places.
I am a big fan of curbless shower, but the overall bathroom bathroom looks something straight out of a 5-star hotel room with a very luxurious feel. I am definitely envious of the homeowners for this bathroom renovation.
what is the actual point of having shower in 2 sides?
@@julyzerg1 lol there really isn't any. Maybe two people could shower at once? But even then you could make that work in a regular shower. Maybe you could pace back and forth?
Not sure, but it probably adds more value than a similarly pointless bathtub that no one will ever use.
@@julyzerg1husband and wife, that’s why the vanity has to mirrors ect. It’s a master bathroom most regular bathrooms only have 1 side.
@@SuperCarFan-we2ug Totally different, 2 sinks are needed for morning and the space for him and her personal care stuff. Shower is not the same, it's not a public bathroom where 2 people showering on 2 sides, not practical, weird, oh look I'm cleaning my balls, oh look I'm cleaning my ass hole, romantic... May as well as go ahead and make 2 toilet in the same room looking directly to each other... Some type of divider/privacy will be better...
If I were in your region, I’d hire you in a heartbeat! You’re the kind of worker we the clients can’t get enough of. Superb craftsmanship and attention to details.
Thank you!
@@WorkinwithWolkon You can probably charge more than $420/day for your work :)
At first when I clicked on the I was like… 40 minutes! Dude! I am GLUED to this! How you covered the window! So impressive! Thank you for zipping this along nicely. The commentary is on point! Make me feel like I missed my calling. Love this!
34:34 It’s ok to have a dirty mind inside the shower 😂 the finished product is so crisp and clean. You’re a one-man army
My favorite youtube renovator!
Thanks!!
It's impressive that you can do all that at such a high quality in only 3-4 weeks. Killer work!!
Some of the highest quality work I have seen in over 30 years of remodeling! Using big tiles in that small of a space is difficult to say the least and you made it look easy. Well done!
Got to be the best remodel video on RUclips, hands down! Love how you explained every little detail without too much blah, blah, blah. . . . And I like how you not only explained what you were doing, but also why you were doing it. Awesome job man, you taught this old guy some stuff that I didn't know.
This was beautiful work Liam! Craftsmanship at it's best! I loved all the attention to details, the prep work, the paper on the flooring as to not mess up the clients floors/stairs, etc. And this turned out to be a 5 star hotel bathroom! Beautiful! Just beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Having just had a contractor take damn near 9 months to redo my bathroom (long story, since he's booked up with pre-scheduled stuff he "fit me in where he could") and with results that don't match the price tag, all I can say is I wish you were in my area. Fantastic work.
YOU DID THIS SOLO! Seriously impressive and absolutely beautiful.
You've earned my sub with this video man. Love to see contractors that take pride in their work. Loved your attention to detail and getting everything perfect. I recently had a friend get screwed by a contracting company in my area, so it's encouraging to see there are people out there really doing good work and putting something beautiful together. Great job!!
Thank you!!!
great work takes time. contractor only see $$$ and move on to the next project. he probably make more on youtube then the job.
Just from watching your prep in the first minute and a half shows me that you're a responsible and competent professional.. I'd be happy to have you come and do work for me anytime. These homeowners are lucky to have found you.
I was blown away by the attention to detail and how it all came together. Stunning!!
I love watching home remodeling videos. I am disabled so even though my bathrooms really need to be repaired I can't afford it and I can't do it on my own. Sooo I watch these and dreaming.
Quality Design
Quality workmanship
Quality results
Wow always love watching such quality work.
Absolutely stunning work, my friend. Your level of quality is incredible. I enjoy watching remodels, but videos of this length I tend to skip around...I watch every second and you made a 40 minute video feel like 5 minutes. You have earned a subscriber. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much!
@@WorkinwithWolkon You should increase your labor prices consider the phenomenal work you do.
20 days x 8 hours a day = 160
$8500 ÷ 160 = $53.125 per hour
I'm from the midwest and most Union Tilesetters get paid $55 on the low end and $86 on the high end, Master union Sparkies get paid $120 per hour, Plumbers charge $90 per hour.
I'm a Master drywaller from repairs to full hang and finishing and I charge $55-$85 per hour.
And those tile guys that get paid $60 are no where near your skill level, precision or attention to details.
I swear this is the first video in my life that I wachted without skipping any second
Nice work. It’s nice to see someone going the extra mile to take care of your customers whole house. Blocking vents, doors, walkways.. top notice craftsman. Keep it.
You do really nice work. I am a retired Corian and other solid surface fabricator and installer. When I made templates as you did for the floor, I used 1/8" Luan door skins instead of ripping 2X material. You can rip it in the shop and keep it on your truck so it’s handy. Big jobs required ¼” material for spanning longer openings. Keep up the good work!
Bob
The craziest part about this whole thing is that he made more from the Adsense on this video than the actual job itself. With 2.4 million views he probably earned arounnd $20-$30k in ad revenue. Very much deserved in my opinion!
Hi Liam, just watched this video on RUclips -- very impressed (and I don't ever usually leave public comments). Great workmanship, great care taken to respect the owner's home, and a very transparent/honest breakdown of costs which is often missing from videos but just adds to the overall sense of confidence a client can have in working with you. Well done! RR
Honestly, not the type of bathroom i would ever want in my home, but definitely hands down for the work, absolutely fabulous. Also video editing and narration is at a professional level.
You more of a claw foot golden tube kinda guy, Daniel?
@@MUSTAF_AROD_UPYUR_POUPR not exactly, try again please...
Wow! That bathroom went from a dungeon to a resort! Absolutely gorgeous.
Your tile combination were great, workmanship was great and thorough. Well done!
Wow, your workmanship is stellar and I'm beyond impressed that you're a one-man crew, especially installing those giant tiles. I'm mid-bathroom-reno right now, not quite as elaborate as this but similar ideas (including - I think - that same bidet, looking forward to it) and the top-notch contractor I was fortunate enough to find via a friend has a series of specialists - on demo day there were six guys in here!
Have been in and around the construction world my whole life, and enjoyed watching you take pride in your work, share your thoughts as you went. Turned out really nice, and high quality craftmanship....you should be proud!
Dude your attention to detail in your work and in your video editing is amazing. Your narration of every step is fantastic and the breakdowns of everything at the end. Insanely talented I am definitely subscribed!
This was the first time that I have ever watched a video like this and man did you have my interest in watching the bathroom makeover from the beginning to the end. I'm not in construction of any kind nor do I even own a home any longer, however putting all of that aside I was totally mesmerized in watching it all come together and even some of the tools that had been used. You did an awesome job and I so enjoyed watching it all come together, beautiful work. Thank you for sharing your work with us. If I'm ever looking for an honest man I'll look you up but you'll need to come to the mile high city. Lol a bit of a jog from where your at. Love your work.
WOW! WOW! WOW! As a former builder I have not seen work of this quality in decades. I wish you lived in the UK and I wished I could get you to do my bathroom remodel. You do amazing work, just lovely. You do it properly too, no cutting corners, no nasty little tricks, just SUPERB work. Fantastic. How ever much you pay yourself just know you are worth much more than that.
Just bought a house with an unfinished bathroom in the basement. This really gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation to get it finished!
Absolutely amazing! My son has his own bathroom company and it's great to see someone else with the same pride and standards. Really enjoyed the video, you've definitely earned my subscription 👍Steve from Manchester England.
I can’t believe you work alone. California needs your skills
I love the view from the rooftop. Wow, the endless creativity of building a container house. I'm just imagining a rooftop deck and relaxing with assume view. Adding more comfort to the tiny container home.
honestly my dream shower lol 😍 i love these renovations. im planning on buying a fixer upper and renovating it myself, i can make my home look however i want it to look.
That’s my dream as well!
Just beautiful! Love your attention to detail and love that you take the time to give us a cost breakdown at the end.
I love their remodeled bathroom
Wow, you got so much skills and talent to do this renovation. What a labor of love and passion of what you do. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to do the job you do. Excellent work! ❤
I’m really enjoying your videos. I’m very impressed with the level of your skills, your attention to detail and how careful you are with your clients’ houses. As I’m sure many have said, wish you could do renovations in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Thank you so much!
Pro-tip for your caulking. Anywhere where the color of the tile is not truly white, use translucent caulking. It blends in better than white, and not clear/shiny enough to look like transparent
I prefer my silicone to match the grout
@@WorkinwithWolkon Yes color matched is the best way to go. I'm talking more about transition areas like toilets and tubs, as the white gets discolored rather quickly, and clear is too shiny
@@Darkely4u good tip
Wow! I love what you did with this bathroom!
The walk in shower. Love love love the bench
Seems to me this takes extreme knowledge with tons of experience. Not many folks that can do this. Great job!!
This bathroom is freaking amazing!! And you are in GTA!! Even better!! I love the fact that you are so transparent with the pricing too!! We are in Toronto and considering renovating our bathroom and kitchen for our old condo downtown (near Foresthill) when the time aligns. I will absolutely contact you!!! THANK YOU FOR SUCH A QUALITY WORK!!
Now that’s how you prep before reno starts! Great job
The level of craftsmanship this took for one man to do it all.... simply amazing
I definitely love the templating and marking the shower floor tile!. Brilliant work. No music. No nonsense. Just raw talent! Well done mate..
I'm subscribing just because of the prep work on the floors. I've seen SO many of these videos and the one thing that ALWAYS makes me cringe in thinking about cleaning up those floors. Such attention to detail 😍
Right!
YOU ARE DOING A RADIANT FLOOR! I didn’t think you would because of the window. This is THE BEST!
25 year old, doing this level of precision work is very impressive. Maybe you’d like to come do my bathroom in the Bahamas sometime? 😂
Dude i am in awe at the quality of your work... Ill be showing this to my wife for when we get our larger home and i expect anything we get will be in dire need for a remodel 😎
Great job!
Amazing transformation. I love the way the tile looks and those mirrors really did fill the space nicely.
Looks amazing! And really good to see how you're doing things properly and not cutting corners. I'd be super happy with that result for that money 👍
Highlight of this remodel: 34:33.
On a less serious note, this is super impressive! I'm amazed by the amount of knowledge and attention to detail you demonstrate. I hope to learn as much as you someday.
And at 33:38, I don't have experience on using pipe dope, but isn't it more safe to apply teflon clockwise? This way, teflon can't unravel when you tighten it and double up
You did a fantastic job, your experience shows in the quality of work. Thanks for the cost breakdown.
WOW, Liam, your work is just BEYOND amazing! You have such incredible time-saving ideas with measuring everything out and doing all of your cuts, instead of: take a measurement-go to the saw-and back again to take another measurement over and over again (which is how the majority of DIYers' probably do it LOL)....great time management! You also are SO NEAT and don't get in to your workspace slapping hard-to-clean mortar or concrete all over the place, only to have to go back later when it's dry and fight to get the products off of your finished look! Not only must that make it so much easier to finish out, but so much more "enjoyable" to work in the space!! Lastly, your choice of proper tools which can be a Godsend, ESPECIALLY lifting those enormous tile! I thoroughly enjoyed watching every second of the video and am grateful you take the time to share your INCREDIBLE KNOWLEDGE and ideas...thank you!
I have a QUESTION I hope you can find the time to answer: I keep BEGGING my mom, who is considering doing a bathroom remodel soon, to do like these homeowners did and remove the NEVER USED bathtub and replace it with a HUGE shower with benches, but she thinks this would DE-VALUE a home's resell value; do you think this is a valid point? I see MOST new remodels doing this layout, so I don't agree with this argument, but I could be wrong?? FINALLY, can you do a full length shower like this and incorporate the ONLY WINDOW for the bathroom somewhere in it or would it just cause too much water damage and lack of privacy? What do you recommend for this situation? I hope to hear from you and thank you again for an amazing tutorial!!
LOL at the grey gaskets. What an outline!
I just started a business with my wife doing design and remodeling and currently finishing my first full bathroom remodel (that’s not just for us). Great work man! I’m subscribed and watching closely, hope to grow our business right alongside you!
You do meticulous work and are amazingly conscious of your client’s home…I love the precautions you took to protect floors and the rest of the home from dust and damage! I wish we had contractors like you in our area😉 Beautiful work🥰
man that’s at least $20K worth of labor!!! you. did an incredible job. and you’re a great presenter too! i loved this.
This guy is a real Pro!
turned out awesome man! can definitely see your progression from the first one you did for your mom on a budget. keep it up!
Beautiful work! The end result is stunning...even though I was quite sad to see the tube and window go. I love a good soak, but I know some people don't use tubs. Nice job!
GC here, you are an absolute craftsman. The amount of cross-skill required to complete this level of job is staggering! One-man army 🪖 💪🏾🔥
This is such beautiful remodel. Even when you look closely at areas like the metal trim around the niches, everything looks spot on. The only thing I don't like is the shower bench. It's executed perfectly, but I just don't understand why a customer would want a permanently-installed bench that would be uncomfortable to sit on and always take up so much space. I think it's far better to get a teak or composite bench that you can move around and replace if you want. But that's just a matter of preference. The bathroom is a work of art and I'd have you here tomorrow to do mine if you weren't thousands of miles away.
Super helpful - your excellent work speaks for itself but taking the time to record and narrate it as competently is amazing. Thank you.
You have come such a long way from your first bathroom make over. I hope you keep up the great work!
Love this remodel! Came out beautiful. Tile work is one of those things I havent had much practice with (practically none tbh) and it looks like a tediously daunting task. One of those things that looks difficult enough that you wouldn't want to try to tackle it so you just hire it out. Yall make it look so easy man!
Thanks! Definitely a tedious project type
as an occasional tiler, he makes it look SO much easier than it is!
@@conradcoolerfiend I've been around it enough to know, even though I'm not the one to be doing it, that it is not the simplest task to get it JUST perfectly right. Especially with the cuts for slope and drainage. Not much emphasis placed about it in the video but I know a lot of thought goes into that bit.
I bet he was glad when he finished that project🎉🎉He did a fantastic job 🎉🎉
As a software engineer, I can totally understand and rate how good of an engineer you are when it comes to engineering the home. Though I don’t know anything about renovation.
Wow, a giant shower renovation in a master bathroom sounds like an exciting project! It's always amazing to see how transforming a space, especially something as personal as a master bathroom, can really rejuvenate the whole feel of a home. The concept of a spacious, well-designed shower can add such a luxurious touch. It's great to think about all the modern design options and features that can be included. I can imagine how this kind of renovation could create a serene and spa-like atmosphere. Enjoy the process and the wonderful results! 🚿✨🛁
What a dope renovation! Doing it by yourself is seriously impressive.
Awesome workmanship! You definitely take a lot of pride in what you do and it shows with all the details and the final result 😮. You made it look easy 😅 well done!
Liked and subbed
I do bath Reno’s for a living and you certainly are top of the game in all areas!
Great job, inspires me to work harder and up my game
Something to mention. I was in that work for 2 years with experienced group. The guy knows what he does and if the days are really as in the video, he is quite fast. Going through rooms and taking down walls without graphs can be challenging and time consuming. It's overall impressive that he is fast, productive and effective.
Amazing work at even more amazing rates! I'd hire you in a heartbeat. Great editing and commentary as well and thank you for including the time frame and costs.
Enjoyed the video! Did you and the homeowner ever discuss keeping the window and doing frosted or textured glass to keep the natural light? Would that have been possible with the shower design?
the fact that you did all of this job alone is amazing, well done sir.
1) that looks phenomenal. I don’t even have words for how awesome that looks.
2) this was super fascinating to watch and was even more fun because I had no idea what half the words are you were using but it was interesting to see how they’re put together.
3) 🤯
I do watch a lot of HGTV but this is one of the most amazing transformation/renovation I've ever seen.. You sir are a treasure!. Keep up the good work 👍
This turned out so pretty you did a great job!
I agree with the previous comment about ur labor being only $11,500. That is an amazing looking bathroom. I’m from S.F. Bay Area and was already pricing that job at $20,000. When I heard $11,500 my jaw dropped. Lol. Great work.
Looks outstanding.😂 Thank you for not over charging. You are a honest, trustworthy person.
Congratulations for your work and your video 👍👏
I did exactly the same work as you in France.
I live in Toronto now since 2 months and am trying to obtain the red seal (not easy). I'm still going to do my tiling and renovation business in the meantime, but I hope to be able to do like you soon.
I've never had a shower this big though 😄
Congratulations again and thank you for putting the prices at the end, it helps me a lot to understand the prices applied here. Even though I think you are below market price for labor 🤔
I loved it, absolutely gorgeous!
I like your attention to detail. Work ethic excellence. Not only building for the looks but also building to last. Not skimming on the waterproofing. Definitely deserve a like and sub from me. Respect to a honest craftsman
The fact that you got this done in 20 days ALONE, when the group that did my bathroom took ~6 months for roughly the same amount of work is insane to me. I guess that's what happens when your know what you're doing and don't go off to other jobs for days on end...
Man i've got a lot of skills and been dreaming of ditching the 9-5 to start a company and do remodels i'm passionate about like you, very inspiring. Amazing work, one man army 💪
The walls shower and sink and that toilet I luv it ❤. Thats my dream bathroom.
Thank you for breaking down all the costs. Most videos like this don't do that.
