In this video my brother and I visit the Chynna Garden Restaurant in Prestatyn in beautiful North Wales.
The Chynna Garden is owned and run by our friends Jason and Jess, who used to run a very popular restaurant in Rhyl. We lost touch after they moved on, but now by happy chance we have found them again.

My Review:
I think hospitality is hardwired into the DNA of Jason and his family, because it is the first thing you notice when you walk into this busy but cosy restaurant.
Well trained staff seem eager to please, even at the busiest of times and busy is always the sign of a good restaurant!
My brother and I stumbled across The Chynna Garden during the recent Classic Car Show, and we were delighted to bump into the proprietor Jason and his lovely wife Jess, having known them from old when they ran an equally excellent restaurant in Rhyl a few years back.
Needless to say we didn't waste time and booked a table for the same evening!
The food was everything we had expected and the service was attentive and friendly, despite it being very busy due to the Classic Car Show earlier that day.
Highly recommended!

So nice when you run into friends whom you have not seen in ages. At primary school in T&T, my best friend Mary Wong used to share her lunches with me and I with her. Need I say that I developed a love for Chinese food and your spread of food on that table looks good. Enjoy guys.

looks like a good selection of food pete, when i eat Chinese i always seem to eat exactly the same food each time.
There's always that temptation Mark, but I like to mix it up until I've tried everything on the menu that takes my fancy.

That's cool reconnecting with a long lost friend. If I had a friend who ran a Chinese restaurant I'd ask them why they spend the extra money on cans of soda as opposed to saving money with a fountain drink machine (I saw the cases of soda here). Why do they all seem to do it?
I think the cans of soda were for selling to passers by who were visiting the Classic Car Show Eric, I'm not sure if they have a fountain or soda 'gun'. I do know that Jason and Jess are smart when it comes to business though.
I didn't know you ate food when not in Trinidad, but it looks like you have a nice local eatery.
Hahaha, yes! We love The Chynna Garden.
In Newcastle we have China Town in the city centre and its populated almost entirely by Chinese people, and theres lot of authentic restaurants and Chinese shops. Its quite cool really.
But I wonder why a Chinese person would relocate from China to a small section of Newcastle that looks a bit like China.
London's Wardour Street is similar, like a little piece of Hong Kong in London.
Because Honk Kong's not big enough as it is!
