I 100% agree with this. Unfortunately though, as a software consultant, you have to review and touch many different codebases from many different companies and not everyone is strict with formatting as I'd like so I have to side scroll :( I am very much a perfectionist when it comes to clean code and I adhere to Pythons PEP8 standards with 79 character line limits. If only everyone did, the world would be a much better place haha!
I think there *is* a market for a mouse like this (just ordered it myself). If you're doing graphic design the DPI level and (lack of) acceleration of gaming mice can be quite useful. Additionally the lightness of these mice can be quite useful as well as you often drag it around when moving stuff in your graphics program. However, you might want slightly different ergonomics and less “gamey” design. I use a mac and all my other peripherals are white so I prefer it to match. Additionally as far as the MX Master goes: the tall short shape makes it incredibly unergonomic for some people (myself included). This mouse has a different take on this (longer, flatter among other things), so there's an argument for that as well. As for the side scroll wheel of the MX Master, again, for some people, that thing just doesn't work for us, same with the free spinning scroll wheel stuff. I'm very happy people are making different alternatives, it would be terrible if all mice where the same. Choice is good! Thanks for the video. I think many 4K videos can be pointless, but here the footage was of so high quality that it really made you easily see what the product was like. You did a great job here!
Please review the Logitech MX Master 3! I am seeking a wireless mouse that is comfortable enough as a daily productivity mouse, while still being capable of gaming uses. (80% productivity and 20% gaming I guess?) Does that seem the MX Master 3 is still a good choice despite it has been out for a year? Consider its size, is it very hard to be carried around? I mean I outweigh comfort more than portability, but it still needs to be somewhat portable?
@@wtotheo Surprisingly good! I had a white death Adder essential before this and I don't even touch it anymore. The pro click has been great for work and play.
Just to add... For the limited gaming I did do with it I found it very good. Might not have as any buttons as dedicated gaming mice but it does the job well.
Nice review again, and funny enough I got the same mouse a couple of months ago, after having bought a MX Master 3 and not liking it as much. The Logitech is too heavy and bigger for my hand. I prefer the Pro click TBH, even if the quality is not as good. On Mac you can use a software called SteerMouse to customise the buttons. As for the wheel side buttons, if you press them and keep pressed you can scroll up and down quite fast.
Have you tried it with linux? There’s no information online about compatibility. This mouse is not listed in the openrazer supported devices list but I’m not sure how that can affect... Regards!

If you're side scrolling through code, your code base needs some formatting rules.

Thanks a lot! Yes, can't argue with that summary. More choice is always a good thing!

Honestly I just got it because razer doesn't want to make a mercury white Basilisk Ultimate.
Did you buy it for gaming? If yes: does it work well?

@@GSXone awesome. Why do you think they don’t say it’s for gaming?

@@mpenntech368 cool. I use my current Logitech G604 for work and gaming, but the white mouce fits my setup better!

Does the pro click feel smaller in your hand than logi mx master 3? Also can you program the pro click buttons to change between Mac desktops ?
Does it work on Wi-Fi mode, by Bluetooth, without the usb receiver that comes inside of the mouse?

you do realizse that you can change the sensitivity stages when you use razer synapse ? and save the new ones on the device ?
As I said in the video... That software does not work on OSX
это лучшая мышь, подходит и для работы и для игр

It has been supported by OpenRazer for quite a while now.
