10:30 That's not about quality control. You can spend $1,000 on the highest quality mouse pad, but if it's white, then it will discolor. And it's not about dirty hands or washing them regularly. That's just your palm constantly releasing oils. Oils + white don't mix. No amount of QC will ever fix that unless that material has some oleophobic coating, and even that will wear out. You can say the same about darker colors and blacks - the oils will make them glossy and shiny. I mean just look at your black keycaps. Same here. I am using MX Master 3S with my mac m1 pro, 1-Lag issue 2-Scrolling is awful. Especially on some apps, it's just stopping working. I am not recommending this 3S Mac version to anyone, please do your search and get a decent mouse. Yes, it's so ergonomic but it's not enough to give 100$ Anyone has a suggestion to buy a new mouse?

Oof you're totally right! I didn't see the Pro Click on the list of the mice with their most advanced sensor (www.razer.com/campaigns/razer-5g-advanced-optical-sensor), so didn't think it had the same sensor!
I'm really disappointed the Razer Pro Click for the following reasons: - Micro USB charging in 2020. - Poor variety of colour options. - Not premium enough, considering the high price tag. I strongly believe if it had the aforementioned issues fixed, it would easily be a major competitor to the MX3. Since it's definitely a lot more suited to gaming than the MX3 is, and it would definitely stop a lot of hardcore gamers from buying separate mice for gaming and work.
The thumb button is a potential point of failure that significantly reduces the lifetime of the MX master. It was an issue for both my OG MX and MX 2, and it getting stuck basically freezes all functionality.
11:00 EXACTLY this issue! MX Master 3S scroll is broken in ratchet-mode. You can't scroll fast or it will miss scroll events. Its the same issue as the first ever logitech mouse with this scrollwheel. Total trash!
Reviewers never seems to mention the serious issues with the Logitech MX master 3 (or in general Logitech for Mac OSX) when it comes to the accompanying software. If you look through Apple user forums you will see tons of complaints about how buggy that software is. I have had two Logitech high end mouses and both developed really weird issues with respect to Left Click funtions seemingly associated with the sofware. With both mouses, when doing a leftg click and then attempting to drag an object, the cursor woud disconnect from the object momentarily and then reconnect on whatever the cursor came in contact with, or even worse, sometimes, the left click function would change completely, causing weird things to happen like scrolling the screen to another desktop, or trying to close another open app. If you were dragging a file from one folder to another in FInder and it happened, it would drop the file yuo were dragging into an unknown folder, and you'd have to do a system wide search to figure out which folder it was hiding it! It was horrible! At first I thought it was mecnaical and the left click button was failing, but when I used a tester app, the click function was fine...until you started to drag the cursor and then it would disconnect for a second and then reconnect. It quickly becasme apparent the left click was working fine until you started to drag the cursor. Uninstalling the software promptly fixed the issue for a while, but then even after unintsally the software, the problem would not go away! Logitech tech support claimed no knowledge of this when I contacted them, but it is very well known in the forums! That was back when I had a Logitech G700S. A year later when I decided to try the MX Master 2s, thinking it might use different software, the same issue developed after several months! And now that I am upgrading to a MacBook Pro with M1 chip I am reading about all sorts of issues The MX-Master 3s is having with it! Logitech still claims no knowlege of ANY issues with the Master series, so I am done with Logittech...for ever! COnsdiering the exorbitant price of this mouse, I think buyers are entitled to software that works without issues, and alittle bit of honestly from Logitech on the flaws, instead of claiming all is fine! And I also have to say that I am really annoyed with all the reviewers on RUclips touting this mouse as the "holy grail" completely overlooking the technical issues that are well documented in countless Apple user forums!
Reddit is also a chokeful of complaints regarding MX Master 3. Especially the jittery cursor that jumps around. For a $100 mouse that's pretty unacceptable. But whenever I see reviewer videos, tech youtubers, etc. they always praise the mouse and it's on every techtuber's desk. I'm considering the Pro Click as I hear it has lower latency. I'm working with 3D softwares with so many buttons and a slight nudge or jitter might end up a disaster, so cursor precision is a big deal for me.
Using MX Master 3 for a month, this review nails it. (My old mouse is a G9 mouse) - the scroll wheel is not good, its like building an ABS in your mouse, very bad when you want to stop, it still give a half scroll on the page with reduce speed. This happen to both magspeed setting. - the scroll is very loose, you may end up many accident extra zoom in/out on apps. You thought the wheel has stop, but its still scrolling. So after you scroll, type in a command in an app, then the app or other app register an extra command cause the spinning is still happening. - The scroll wheel is too large in radius, the travel distant from right click to middle wheel feels uncomfortable ( if you have small hand or used to small travel distant). Second reason is the right click button is sliding down in design, making the wheel have a big gap from the click button. - IF you want precisian, not the mouse for you. My very old G9 is better that this. (not gaming) Planning to buy a new mouse, - ergonomic shape, price around this range, infinite scroll, good drag/dpi response. I feel like we are finding that perfect mouse but there is non?
Having the same issue...I think there is none. I was quite amazed by it actually. I think I have to go for the g604 which is lacking ergonomic design and is not rechargeable. This is hilarious! You basically got an infinite market of wealthy programmers and nobody is pitching.
Dude I can't agree more that if the mx 3 didn't have that skipping / not registering precision scroll issue, it'd be perfect... But it drove me crazy and I ultimately ended up returning it

Hi I'm a frontend developer, I recently bought a MX 3 but the scroll wheel on free mode or normal mode, is driving me crazy, does it take sometime to adapt to it? Does that happen to you?
@@wattheshet I have it for a month now. No problems with the wheel but it take some time to get use to it. Right now my only problem is the mouse weight, I’m still getting use to it. It feels like 50% heavier than my Razer mouse.

For me, the feel of the mouse is the first priority. Rubber and soft touch plastic are the 2 best features anyone should look for in a mouse. The main reason for this is not just grip, but hand sweat and oil protection and visibility. With a raw plastic mouse, you will leave grease prints, and the plastic will "shine" over time from use, smoothing out the plastic too much, creating a slippery mirror finish. The same happens to soft touch, but less quickly, and it at least still offers some grip and oil mark protection. You'll be spending a lot of time holding a mouse, and that is the most important performance metric. Sensors don't matter, they're all good these days. Ideally, a sturdy fully mechanical mouse clicker would be the best choice, as that's the main failure point that renders mice useless.
'Sensors don't matter' Umm yes they do. I went from a £20 gaming mouse to the MX Master and the MX Master felt like a 10 year old mouse. No idea why they would put such a bad sensor in it when Logitech has the hero sensor in their budge mice.
@@99magic92 You probably just didn't tweak the DPI settings. No one actually uses the full 16,000 dpi. Heck I barely use 2000-4000dpi. When you change the settings in windows control panel, all it does it ignore some ratio of the input. So let's say you raise the DPI to max, but lower the windows control panel mouse sensitivity to its lowest level. Effectively, windows is ignoring like 90% of the DPI input information, completely negating the high DPI setting. The only benefit high DPI has, is tracking on difficult surfaces. But virtually all mice have no issues tracking on pretty much all surfaces.
C north, I think he’s talking about the precision factor. I game and I can feel a difference in the precision of the master 3. I preordered the 3s - we’ll see if there’s a difference!
@@Ahnestly Max out the DPI in the mouses third party software, then lower the sensitivity in the windows control panel mouse options to a comfortable level. DPI is a completely different function than mouse sensitivity. They work in tandem. The DPI has to do with surface tracking, and while it can increase sensitivity at the same windows mouse settings, the mouse settings are what determines the actual final hard limit on mouse input speed. So you can think of the DPI as sensor input to mouse, and the windows mouse settings as mouse input to the OS. Mouse sensors aren't the problem, it's trying to use DPI as an adjustment to mouse speed. That's the mistake most people make.
Even if you're not setting your DPI anywhere near the high end of a sensors capabilities a higher dpi sensor is still typically more accurate. I think you need to research DPI vs eDPI because everything you said about setting a lower sensitivity in Windows is simply not technically correct.
I have used the grey mx master 3, and I can tell you it too gets 'brown' spots with much use. Tried cleaning it with soap and also alcohol, but it doesn't help. Probably getting the black version is a good idea.
I appreciate that someone with small-to-medium sized hands is doing mouse reviews and stating it in the review, so we can have a point of reference. I just bought and returned an MX Master 3 (despite getting a really good deal on it) because it was way too high for my hand to rest on it comfortably.
My problem with the Razer Pro Click Is that aside from ergonomics, you aren't really getting much more than say the Basilisk (which is also quite ergonomic) or any other gaming mouse. With the Logitech Mx Master's you really are getting a productivity focused mouse with a bunch of extra features. So I feel like if you are looking for a producitivity mouse, go with the Mx Master 3 and if you don't really need those features, just go for a wireless gaming mouse like the Viper Ultimate, Deathadder V2 Pro, or even Basilisk if you really want the ergonomics. Also, make sure you actually try an ambi mouse before just going for the ergo one. I used to think ergo was the best, but my viper mini I've been using (despite myself having bigger hands) is very comfortable to use.
Agreed, the new basilisk v3 is a better productivity mouse for 70$ and is objective better in every way, other than it is wired, but the cable is light.
I've tried ambidextrous mice before, and they are awful for ppl with large hands. An ergonomic mice is a necessity for me, otherwise my hand will hurt after a while.
@@Frosty_V0 I found the Razer mouse in the video for $70 on sale. Would that make it worth getting? Definitely prefer ergonomics, as I have larger hands, as well as wireless capabilities.
I tried using the MX3 for a week and sadly will ship it back. My hands hurt like hell. Couldn't adapt to the ergonomics. Perhaps because my hands are simply not big enough. That being said, the features are just amazing. I might try the Razer Pro or simply get the Anywhere 3
Listen closely. I said the FASTEST pc possible using budget minded parts. Every time someone builds the fastest PC, they go balls to the wall on high end components that give little performance boost. I tried to build the fastest PC, but being a little more conscientious about what parts I used
8:27 Those are pre-set profiles for 8 different and common apps. You can add your own apps and create your own profiles for those apps in the Logi Options software. Just something to note in your review
Good review from the final user point of view, I have my doubs about MXM3 ergonomics, but after you video I think is meant to force the wrist to keep aligned with the hand and not rest it in the table as an ordinary mouse.
Ideally in an ergonomic sense your arm shouldn't be on the table but supported by the arm rests of your chair. The more horizontal/level your arm (and lined up wrist) the better. (While maintaining the 'proper' sitting position) Your wrist should usually be lined up with your arm (neutral wrist position) especially over longer time periods. Any mouse that doesn't encourage this position just don't use. Size and weight is also important and varies depending on the user (as well as use) and need to be considered!
sorry to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
@Franco Mitchell Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Even with large hands, your comment is accurate that the MX3 feels like your hand is taking a ride vs. being in control. I found the overall position of the MX3 unnatural and I had constant issues with accidental right clicking due to the slope and low resistance from the buttons. The tiniest amount of pressure to hold or move the mouse would result in unintended right clicks. I decided to return it and now I'm back to the drawing board looking for a new mouse.
All this is true for MX3s. Issues with scroll wheel, accidental clicking. Can't say better - it feels like your hand is taking a ride and claw grip is very uncomfortable, even painful.
I’m considering the MX3 for my MacBook Pro to replace Apple’s Magic Mouse. The Magic Mouse has TERRIBLE battery life (2xAA batteries) and a replacement would have to support side scrolling for Final Cut Pro X. Based on what I’ve seen on other videos, the MX3 does that. Also, I heard that the MX3 can use 3 different computer “profiles”, so you can easily use it on different machines.
Hi please notice meee! Is the middle button of the Razer Pro Click hard to press or not? Really appreciate your reply 'coz I'm planning to buy one. Thanks!
First video of yours I've watched and excellent review. Perhaps do a script prep for your video so you don't forget things lol. But otherwise good luck. I've subscribed and given you a thumbs up.
LOL I'm kind of crazy when it comes to recording...I'll procrastinate, procrastinate, procrastinate, and then be in the mood and just record. I script maybe 50% of the time!
The MxMaster 2S wore out where my fingers made contact (left & right button) it was annoying. I am considering going back from Razer to Logitech (to the 3) but I'd like to know the durability of those 2 buttons.
Do I have the only MX Master 3 mouse in existence that doesn't have this scrolling issue? I've sat here for 10 minutes scrolling trying to see if mine has that issue... I just bought mine though so maybe they fixed it?
I returned mine a couple of weeks ago because I need a gaming/productivity hybrid (I might get the pro click) but I remember that on bluetooth the half scroll did not happen anymore.
no matter your hand size on the master 3your finger(s) will still touch the mousepad...tested this with me and multiple friends all hand sizes ranging from small to large. most people actually had even the ring finger and the pinky off the side able to touch the mouse pad. Just wanted to clarify for anyone out there.....Furthermore some people actually dislike that their hand touches the mousepad, its all subjective.
Hmmm...isn't Razers 5G optical sensor a gaming sensor? It's the same sensor that they use on the Mamba Elite, Mamba Wireless, Deathadder Elite, and the Orochi V2 which has become my main mouse over my Razer Viper Ultimate.
Logitech looks much cooler and futuristic . I guess Razor would have been more beautiful in some other color white really turns me off Also man the scroll issue with the Master 3 is really serious . Thanks for that info buying the Master 2S
I hear a lot about the MX3 scroll issues - but have yet to run into it. From what I've seen it has most to do with the software rather than the hardware.
Ahnestly I must have gotten lucky then :) No issues on Mac - although early software on PC (when I got it a couple months ago) had issues with the scroll not functioning at random moments)
Thank you for this excellent review. Not just mentioning the scroll wheel but also the right side/pinky space on the MX Master 3. I just went to Best Buy today to try it out and it just didn't feel right, and this is exactly why.
My issue with the MX3 is that the scroll wheel is very unstable (tilts a bit to the right ) and hard to click on...However, it also happens to be the thing I love about this mouse which is the Magspeed, honestly, I have the wheel UNLOCK all the time, it's just my lifestyle now, fast scrolling everywhere anytime BUT become less precise, raising the finger to click the wheel sometimes makes a fake scroll and I can also scroll if you move the mouse in the air, it also makes a sound, that's when you change the wheel to lock... even so, I would not go back to a mouse without this feature, silent ultra-fast scrolling is the best, hope the wheel gets better on the MX4 someday!
I saw someone somewhere saying there was something you can disable in the software that would fix the half scroll issue, I’m supposed to be getting the mouse in a few days so I’ll see if I can find it in the software.
You said that the sensors within these 2 mice doesn't compare with that from a "real" gaming mouse. The one from the Pro Click actually does. It's one of their best sensors to date and it can be found in a sleuth of their other "gaming" mice. The mouse itself has seen a lot of praise for its comfort of use and high quality feel. The only issue it seems to have is the proprietary micro-usb cable used for charging... that's a self kick in the nuts from Razer.
have you tried g604? from the reviews it looks quite beautiful and ergonomic for a gaming mouse, not too gamey and has infinite scroll with lightspeed connection too. i'm hesitating between g604/mxm3/mxm2s
Hi, my g700s just died, so I am on a quest of finding a new mouse. This time I am looking for a clean design in white - similar to Razor Pro Click. I am a CAD software user, and I am jumping (a lot) between different apps so having multiple profiles (that can be stored in the internal memory) and programmable buttons is essential for me. I also love speed scroll feature - is there anything similar in the market?
razor pro click has the scroll wheel tilt, which is as default set to quick scroll. I ordered both and man that scroll wheel issue on the mx master 3 is the worst design mistake ever. I couldn't live it.
I have the MX Master 3 and i love it. However where the place I work is really quite the clics are so loud lol. Even My coworkers say they can only hear my clics. So I have to say is a little bit noisy.
This is literally the first time i scrolled from the top of the comments to the very bottom 💀 The comments in this video are really useful tbh, and this review video is also very *ahnest,* it tells just about everything i need to know about this mouse. Good review man, Imma check ur other vids now ~now im starting to think again if i should get the mx master 3 or nah~
Great comparison, thanks for sharing! I bought the Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse two weeks ago and I'm still very happy with it (the best I've ever had)! :)
Think it every video, but man you deserve so much more traction. And you'll get it, no doubt. Still have an original mx master, love the productivity features of it. Now just need a white one to match my razer 15 white mercury and yamaha hs5 setup.
I don't find myself with that much wrist pain and didn't want to use something that had a huge learning curve. It was just a comparison of the 2 big brands ergonomic mice!
what about the terrible refresh rate on a Logitech of 125 megahertz via bluetooth and wifi versus 1000 on a Razer? it's also very hard to click on the logitech middle click and the mouse itself is heavy
Hi There, thanks for the video. You have actually answered the question which i was looking for in MX3 "PRECISION" now i am looking for G900 but it expensive than MX3. Can you suggest another options with the same precision? Thanks
Thank you for mentioning the other tech reviewers lying about this mouse. I too purchased an MX Master 3 only to be thoroughly disappointed by the scroll wheel. Only after I knew the issue existed was I able to search and find that this was a common issue with the mouse, not just a one-off. None of the other tech reviews I watched mentioned this.
I still don’t understand the problem with the scroll, I’m thinking about this mouse so if you could explain the problem I’d appreciate it, so I can get a decision wether I’m buying this or not. Some people say that this problem has solution, what do you think about that?

Hey Penelope, my motto is always try it and if it doesn't work out, razer has a 15 day return policy with money back minus shipping or you could use like amazon or best buy to get a full refund! It is definitely going to feel odd for someone with small hands though because the mouse is a bit larger than a lot of mice out there
Just received my MX Master 3s and was so disapointed using it alongside my MX Master 2s that it is imediately going back. Scroll wheel feels lighter, less precise, does the stuttering that you mentioned and its more slippery to touch. Shame as I wanted the quiet keys but this really isn't worth it. I wanted this for a second mouse, so not replacing my 2s but I think I will just buy another 2s instead. Also, my K800 keyboard is excellent (and I have two) and they use unifying receiver, meaning I can only use the MX3s as bluetooth mouse. (or use two different receivers). So bad from Logitech to mess up their previously excelllent products with this new rubbish. Buttons on the MX3s are better placed that the 2s and there is more camber on the buttons, but this doesn't forgive the scroll issue. I wish I had watched your video before buying and read a few reviews.
I’m having issues with the MX Master 3 scroll wheel in ratchet mode. It sounds quite ratchety, which I think it’s not supposed to. Is yours like that? I also have an MX Anywhere 3, and it’s completely silent even in ratchet mode.
My first high end mouse I had was the MX 2 from Logitech. It lasted less than a year. The track system failed. In was under warranty so they sent me another one. Same issue happened after a year (programmed obsolescence in its best). After that I bought a G502 and the right click started to get stuck in less than a year. I could be super unlocky but no more Logitech mice for me
For several days I tried to get used to the Master MX3, no luck. Too big for my 18cm hand and claw grip. The scroll wheel is too far and the mouse is too high. Also the scroll wheel has issues when scrolling up.
For anyone complaining about the scroll issue on the MX3, just disable the "smooth scroll" feature. I'm very surprised nobody else mentioned this on this comments page, you'd think this was a paid review for Razer.
@@Ahnestly Maybe not for everyone, but it's still worth someone mentioning it, as a lot of ppl had the same issue on Reddit and disabling smooth scrolling fixed it for them.
Gotta be honest here, you are comparing a ergonomic wireless mouse against a high precision high speed gaming mouse that is designed like an ergonomic office mouse. That is also the only flaw of the pro click - The white design really sucks if you use it a lot, it will get ugly pretty quick. Micro USB is just cheap and lazy, technically its alright since charging intervalls are rare.
problem is logitech style mouse is that, its heavy and requires a claw grip, i like little bit flat and lighter version, cz it keeps my hand flat and allows me to use to more comfortably over time.
I did though, but maybe not explicitly under the title of comfort. I talked about how they felt in general use. Comfort is subjecive, but both felt fine to me!
What is/are the specific tech specification parameters you are refering to when you suggest gaming mice, notably their sensors, are better than those found in general/non-gaming mice? Worth sharing to better educate viewers and promote more a more technical , and thus defined and efficient research routine.
mx3 can be impressively smooth with some pressure, but the wheel is really making me a little bit sick when using it to zoom in and zoom out, also, the side wheel and the hand button is not easy to reach, still waiting for pro click to see if it can do a better job
Just learned something new about my MX Master 3, I really didn't like the default mouse scroll, but I now have it enabled to the smoother feeling wheel using the infinite scroll Thanks! Good points on the mousepad discoloration & the lack of white option for the MX mouse due to lots of MX2 owners voicing their concerns about color discoloration...TLDR: don't feel bad of the lack of white option...the mid grey works!

(My old mouse is a G9 mouse)
- the scroll wheel is not good, its like building an ABS in your mouse, very bad when you want to stop, it still give a half scroll on the page with reduce speed.
(not gaming)
Planning to buy a new mouse,
- ergonomic shape, price around this range, infinite scroll, good drag/dpi response.
I feel like we are finding that perfect mouse but there is non?
Thanks for the kind words!
Having the same issue...I think there is none. I was quite amazed by it actually. I think I have to go for the g604 which is lacking ergonomic design and is not rechargeable. This is hilarious! You basically got an infinite market of wealthy programmers and nobody is pitching.
Man you nailed it! Im not satisfied with the mx3 for all the reasons above. Do you any recommendations?
you can try Corsair Ironclaw
Dude I can't agree more that if the mx 3 didn't have that skipping / not registering precision scroll issue, it'd be perfect... But it drove me crazy and I ultimately ended up returning it
SERIOUSLY!!! Even now, I get so frustrated,
Yall is that still an issue? Could it be a software thing?
@@KokurenHunters I just read on reddit that disabling "smart scrolling" in the Logitech Settings app fixes the issue

@@carlosalfredo657 Planning to buy MX 3. What is the issue you are having on the scroll wheel?
@@wattheshet I have it for a month now. No problems with the wheel but it take some time to get use to it. Right now my only problem is the mouse weight, I’m still getting use to it. It feels like 50% heavier than my Razer mouse.

@@carlosalfredo657 yeah I had some "issues" at first with the scroll wheel, but it took me 1 week to get used to it!
Very cool you mention the scroll issue! I feel the same about it like you do, then bottled it.
I have MX master 2 white version and the problem is worse. Definitely get a black version!!!
I appreciate that someone with small-to-medium sized hands is doing mouse reviews and stating it in the review, so we can have a point of reference. I just bought and returned an MX Master 3 (despite getting a really good deal on it) because it was way too high for my hand to rest on it comfortably.
I love the battery life on Razer Pro Click... still on the same first full charge when mine arrived nearly a month ago :)
Yeah the battery life isn't bad at all!
when it works... battery life is misleading. i had mine say full for 2 weeks then just died.
An ergonomic mice is a necessity for me, otherwise my hand will hurt after a while.
what about the terrible refresh rate on a Logitech of 125 megahertz via bluetooth and wifi versus 1000 on a Razer?

FINALLY someone who knows how to spell
Good review from the final user point of view, I have my doubs about MXM3 ergonomics, but after you video I think is meant to force the wrist to keep aligned with the hand and not rest it in the table as an ordinary mouse.
Ideally in an ergonomic sense your arm shouldn't be on the table but supported by the arm rests of your chair. The more horizontal/level your arm (and lined up wrist) the better. (While maintaining the 'proper' sitting position)
Your wrist should usually be lined up with your arm (neutral wrist position) especially over longer time periods. Any mouse that doesn't encourage this position just don't use.
Size and weight is also important and varies depending on the user (as well as use) and need to be considered!
sorry to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account??

@Franco Mitchell It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
Can you still use these for gaming?
Great video, just a heads up but the mode shift button (below the scroll wheel) is customizable ( have mine running a macro)
All that is true :-)
awesome video mate, also gotta give props for giving a warning before you came back when you were doing the sound test instead of deafening us lol
Hi please notice meee! Is the middle button of the Razer Pro Click hard to press or not? Really appreciate your reply 'coz I'm planning to buy one. Thanks!
Noticed! It was really easy to click!
Interesting!
Do I have the only MX Master 3 mouse in existence that doesn't have this scrolling issue? I've sat here for 10 minutes scrolling trying to see if mine has that issue... I just bought mine though so maybe they fixed it?
It's def possible...mine annoys me so much...
All good points!
Hmmm...isn't Razers 5G optical sensor a gaming sensor? It's the same sensor that they use on the Mamba Elite, Mamba Wireless, Deathadder Elite, and the Orochi V2 which has become my main mouse over my Razer Viper Ultimate.
You are correct! It wasn't market d very well so I made that mistake!
@Ahnestly We're in April, 2022 so may I ask has the scroll issue been fixed on the MX Master 3 now?
Hm I don't use it that much these days...anyone in the comments section have any thoughts?
Totally agree with you about the scroll wheel.. By your video am I correct to understand the MX2s doesn't have the scroll issues?
Logitech looks much cooler and futuristic . I guess Razor would have been more beautiful in some other color white really turns me off
Also man the scroll issue with the Master 3 is really serious . Thanks for that info buying the Master 2S
I hear a lot about the MX3 scroll issues - but have yet to run into it. From what I've seen it has most to do with the software rather than the hardware.
I think the scroll wheel is a hardware issue. There are tooooo many reports for it to be merely software.
Does Razer Synapse 2 supports Razer Pro Click? I'm asking this since Synapse 3 is not yet supported in Mac.
I honestly can't recall...sorry!
YOU SPEAKEDETH THE TRUTH!!!! I LOVE my G900 because of the magspeed feature. I love that the MX3 is silent, but the skip scroll is SO frustrating...
I saw someone somewhere saying there was something you can disable in the software that would fix the half scroll issue, I’m supposed to be getting the mouse in a few days so I’ll see if I can find it in the software.
Did you fix it? I’m getting one soon too.
People say it's the smart scroll option under pointers
Sadly nothing fixed the issue for me. I returned my MX Master 3. Couldn't get used to missed/inconsistent multi-line scrolls. Very disappointing.
You're spot on about the sensor and that's my bad but Eh it's still incredibly basic for $100.
have you tried g604? from the reviews it looks quite beautiful and ergonomic for a gaming mouse, not too gamey and has infinite scroll with lightspeed connection too. i'm hesitating between g604/mxm3/mxm2s
I just bought the 604 and I’m an RTS gamer but it does feel so much better than my previous mice
Unfortunately, none that I know of!
razor pro click has the scroll wheel tilt, which is as default set to quick scroll. I ordered both and man that scroll wheel issue on the mx master 3 is the worst design mistake ever. I couldn't live it.
Seriously.

Cool, does this Razer have the amazing Hyperscroll of the Basilisk V3 Pro when the scroll wheel is in the infinite scroll mode?
Thank you.

Do you see any yellow tint on MX3 after using it some months?
How come you didn't go with vertical mice? Anker and Logitech both have verical mice. It looks more ergo.
I don't find myself with that much wrist pain and didn't want to use something that had a huge learning curve. It was just a comparison of the 2 big brands ergonomic mice!

Would small hands fit the Razer Pro Click mouse? I can't really find anything specific on it, my hands fit the "small" category on Razer's website.
MX Master 3 is absurdly massive and they usually always break after 2-3 years someway somehow.
My master 2 held out for the past 3 years before I sold it out. I miss it though...the razer click is also thicccc too!

I’m having issues with the MX Master 3 scroll wheel in ratchet mode. It sounds quite ratchety, which I think it’s not supposed to. Is yours like that? I also have an MX Anywhere 3, and it’s completely silent even in ratchet mode.
Not at all, see my sound test. that's as loud as it gets
My first high end mouse I had was the MX 2 from Logitech. It lasted less than a year. The track system failed. In was under warranty so they sent me another one. Same issue happened after a year (programmed obsolescence in its best). After that I bought a G502 and the right click started to get stuck in less than a year. I could be super unlocky but no more Logitech mice for me
Ouch!!

It doesn’t fix it

Gotta be honest here, you are comparing a ergonomic wireless mouse against a high precision high speed gaming mouse that is designed like an ergonomic office mouse. That is also the only flaw of the pro click - The white design really sucks if you use it a lot, it will get ugly pretty quick. Micro USB is just cheap and lazy, technically its alright since charging intervalls are rare.
Whats the matter with the mx 3 scroll wheel ?
See the video example? Do you not understand the issue?

Your profile picture creeps me out, but I still appreciate the really kind words!!!
i'd say the 1000 Hz polling rate on the pro click is an advantage too (two years after you posted this haha)
You didn't talk about the key thing, how they feel in use. How comfortable they are.
I did though, but maybe not explicitly under the title of comfort. I talked about how they felt in general use. Comfort is subjecive, but both felt fine to me!
This video has great production value.

mx3 can be impressively smooth with some pressure, but the wheel is really making me a little bit sick when using it to zoom in and zoom out, also, the side wheel and the hand button is not easy to reach, still waiting for pro click to see if it can do a better job

Good points on the mousepad discoloration & the lack of white option for the MX mouse due to lots of MX2 owners voicing their concerns about color discoloration...TLDR: don't feel bad of the lack of white option...the mid grey works!
