Gardening with kids, a messy blessing! A lot of people would gloss over and hide the mistakes/learning moments and the losses that happen along the way, but it's great to see your honesty and resilience/optimism around this!
Haha it definitely is! Accidents happen, everything is fixable in some way, or we just learn from it and keep on!

Secretly happy you're in zone 4 now, because I can compare it more easy to where I live (northern Norway). Some nights we still get down to 5 degrees C in mid July. I'm struggling a bit this year, got hit pretty hard with plant lice and didn't discover them early. Got my first strawberry today, and a few zucchinis. All in buckets on the balcony.
That’s so awesome! And yes, cold nights here as well! I’m still waiting for zucchini!

I have a garden seeder too, have had it for 20 years now, I absolutely love mine too, mine marks my next row if wanted with a guide, does yours have that feature too amber?
That’s so neat! For the seeder I have, I can get the accessory part to mark the next row, but I don’t have it… not sure if I’ll get it or not haha… though I bet it would be handy!
Do you have any ideas for keeping dogs out of a garden? We lost a couple pepper and bean plants because of my sisters dogs. We thought about a fence, but money is short.😅 Do you have any creative or cheap ideas? I love your channel and I'm glad that you're healing! ❤

Hi, love your content! I was wondering, is this still gardening or is it farming now? Are you selling or is this all to feed your family? Can you already tell how much youre saving on groceries by doing this (in percentage lets say)?
I garden and I farm, this garden is purely for family this year. Next year I will sell some produce, depending on how things go (I used to sell produce, but this is a first year garden at this location). I factor how much I spend and save each year after harvest and make a video about it in the fall!
When you turn on the wobblers, does the water hit your tomato plants? Ive leanred that you shouldnt get water on the leaves. Ive never tried it, i always hand water and put the water at the base of the plants but that thing does look pretty cool. I have a smaller garden but it does take time to make sure everything is getting enough water every day.
I watch two channels that water from overhead (That 1870’s Homestead and True Grit: Appalachian Ways) and they both have tomatoes 🤷🏼♀️
It does get water on the tomato plants. I used to water all my tomatoes underneath with lines- and I still got powdery mildew on my tomato plants, made no difference. It also rains and that touches the leaves… honestly I don’t think it’s a big problem, and things seem to be ok so far! It’s also been a very rainy season so far!
