We call it cow parsley here. We had some pop up last season and I argued with my husband because I was convinced it was a flower🙄. Luckily it was contained in a bed and our agriculture college had great educational tips online so it’s GONE- we only had 4 thank God….this is great info y’all! Thank you as always! Great content ❤
Amber, the first video I watched from your other channel was the one where you removed your dread locks 😄. Since then I have been watching all your videos and that's because I love your personality and way of thinking out of the box. Thank you for your content and wishing you a full recovery soon. Much love❤
I didn’t know this until I pulled it and it burned my arms and legs. I thought it was poison ivy but the rash was different. This was in May . I still have dark patches where it touched me. Thank you for doing this video.
The local government will come and take care of giant Hogweed here in Western NY. They don't want us handling it. I had no idea about wild parsnip!! Thanks for the info!
I have seen pictures of people who accidentally exposed, and oh my dog, those burns looked horrific. I appreciate you showing us what it looks like and talking about it. You've got some pretty cute doggos there, even if one is slacking off on the job! :)
Very interesting, plants can really play rough! I had a poison ivy take me down a couple of summers back! Well done you two! You are really awesome stewards to your land ❤
Oh my gosh!!! I just rewatched your last video on your last channel over again. I had subscribed to this new channel, but forgot about it! So thankful I watched that, and found you again! Now I have videos to binge! ❤
@4:21 *Giant hogweed, not regular hogweed I found some giant hogweed in my in-laws' backyard in Michigan a couple weeks ago and have been constantly asking, "Did you get rid of it yet? How about now?" 😂 The rash is called "phytophotodermatitis." There's a Rosemary and Thyme (TV mystery show) episode that features it. That's the only reason I know about it. Haha!
@@FairlyRooted The whole series is on RUclips. It's early 2000's and kinda silly but I love seeing the beautiful British gardens they design as they solve the murders.
Nope, two different plants entirely. Though Wild Parsnip flowers look similar to queens Ann’s lace flowers, they are yellow instead of white. Different leaf patterns as well.
I loved it “this is one of our fields” oh how fabulous
Haha thank you, still can’t believe it!

Yes, same here! I don’t know how anyone can be judgmental on her content. She is so sweet!
So educational! I had never heard of wild parsnip before.

Yes definitely check to see, some cities/towns take care of it, many don’t!
Love watching your videos from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Thank you so much!! 😊
Hey Joseph good to see you ❤
And I somehow read "partnership" together with the thumbnail 😂 Hope you and your family are doing well x
Haha I see you staying well away Amber 😂😂
Haha yep, I wasn’t geared up to be near it! But I did literally stumble across it in our field!

Thank you for sharing! ❤
We are in ptbo county and have to do the same on our new property this year. Also with the poison ivy - awful stuff.

Another scary plant to be aware of! I found stinging nettles on my small property. I learned the hard way that they hurt!
SO INTERESTING ❤

Yes, Giant Hogweed. When our neighbours talk about it, it’s just Hogweed haha
And I love mysteries! I’ll have to check it out!

Is this what we call poison hemlock? Looks kind of like queen Ann's lace.
