This is a " Teacher"! One that changes a child's life, who gives encouragement, who believes in him/her when others don't. Being a teacher is not only Math, Science, History... It's teaching self esteem, it's listening to their students worries and problems. Truly listening and helping them along the way. It's sad that there aren't more like this but with that said it's sad that teachers can't teach and can't do this with the unruly and disrespectful students they have to deal with these days. Students are missing out when a teacher has to deal with today's students.

Oh my! Tears... what an amazing honor and achievement. That right there would mean more to me than having the degree hanging on my wall. That's a true testimony to how teachers can change a child life. I can't remember my childhood due to severe trauma. But there is one memory that I do have. It's crept beyond the horrific memories that are not a blur and allowed me to survive. And it's my grade one teacher. She also taught me piano. She always encouraged me. She had me play at the Jubilee Auditorium, one song all by myself. I will never forget that. I only wish i would have stuck it out and played for a living. My second biggest regret.
Once i went to my teacher and told her she saved my Life in a terrible time and i knew she needs to know it cause it's easy to blame but so hard to say thanks! She was so overwhelmed and thankful! Teachers are humans and need to know how good they really are!! Cool Video!
this reminds me of my momma😢 when i go back to my home town i am always running into her students of all ages who told me she was their favorite teacher. i remeber when i was growing up she would drive me to 4am baseball workout, teach all day, drive me to and from games in the night and then come how and grade papers for a few hours. im so blessed
I got to hug my amazing hero teacher recently!!! He was an amazing teacher and such an incredible light and strong human to be there for any and all his students. He also wrote me a beautiful recommendation lettef for culinary school when I applied! Wish I could get my hands on it now!
