    Love that you’re a 6.
It’s very healthy and brave of you to put all this out there. You’ve done a lot of work on yourself. Thank you for the benefits we are getting. Sending ❤️
Seeing the dysfunction, underbelly ..,that’s so true.

This makes so much sense and really spoke to me. Especially liked the mental image of trusting God and making peace with the fact that I can accept others just as they are - and accept myself in a nonjudgmental way - because we are all just human.
For me, knowing God is in control helps to quell the anxiety in me. I can relax and remember that I don’t have to control the universe because it isn’t my job. I don’t have to make all people around me comfortable and happy. I don’t have to perform perfectly. I don’t have to be anything except me.
Thanks for taking the time to put this all out here.

I have wondered what your MBTI type is since the beginning of watching your videos. I thought for sure something T based, I was very surprised to hear you are an INFJ. I have been listening to all your videos on my commute to work and tonight was the first night I watched your video. It is so strange because if you just listen to your voice you are definitely a thinker but with the videos I can see intense emotion with every thought. I am an infj as well and people have often thought I was on the verge of tears when speaking (which I wasn’t) I had no idea how much of our emotion that we think we are hiding is super obvious. That said your videos are amazing and as a type one you know I’m a tough critic:) You are an extremely insightful and gifted person. You make me proud to be a fellow infj:)

Really excellent video. Had to pause a take a moment multiple times! Such a great ending, applicable to all types. For me as a 9, when I give the gift of the 9 (lol Skyrim) of acceptance and safety to be who you are, but am rejected completely in return, it's recognizing that I don't need their acceptance or to take it personally, because I have God's unconditional acceptance and love. I can treat them with dignity wether they deserve it or not, knowing I too have messed up big. I can open doors I've slammed (infj here) by the grace of God. It's super hard. It's hard to be vulnerable and honestly, my faith is so weak sometimes. But ultimately, it's beautiful and the closest to heaven on Earth we'll get.

Almost every single word you have said so far I identify with. I'm only just learning about the Enneagram (books on their way so I can study deeper) . I find myself at the point where I am separating from constructs, questioning the doubts I've harbored inside all my life, seeing my potential as a leader and seeing I have earned the4 trust in myself (an accidental following is also being realized) ... I wish I could ask you a billion things.
Thank you for making these videos.

Jenniffer...Many thanks for sharing your good work. I totally identify and understand (I am a 6) with the point where you say if any type would be in a position "not to judge" someone or something like that (sorry English my second language) that would be a 6. It totally relates to the point I read or listened to in another video where someone said a 6 wants a world where everybody can safely be themselves. Hence, when a healthy 6 is no judmental makes total sense because we seek that in the world and when unhealthy we are not being ourselves at all. Many thanks again

Please do the counterphobic 6. I find I relate a lot to an 8 and outwardly I can look and sound like an 8 but agree with a lot of the content of this video.

I've started watching your videos today and let me just say you're amazing. You're so good a verbalising your thoughts.
Anyway, I'm in the process of trying to find out more about myself, hence why I took this he RHETI test. I started feeling very depressed and anxious in my first year of university. I think it had always existed in me but it became so noticeable that it was beyond my ability to ignore. I was in a constant state of overthinking and questioning my existence.
At university I also started smoking weed. I started becoming very paranoid and anxious when smoking and had this sensation that I could pick up every emotion a person was feeling, like I could feel their sadness and why they felt sad and I in turn internalised it. It was like walking past someone and having an idea of who they were instantly. This became more noticeable to me after smoking as well and it became overwhelming.
I have also come to the realisation that I've lied to myself a lot. In personality tests in the past I would say I'm organised and decided when in fact I procrastinate and am completely undecided in the majority of situations doubting everything I'm doing. When I feel happy I instantly question whether the feeling is real or if perhaps I have bipolar disorder and am in fact experiencing hypomania. I then start researching the difference between hypomania and happiness.
I also fear being evil or a narcissist. I feel guilty when I'm selfish. For example, when I take money from my parents I feel bad for wanting the money from them. Why would I have such a desire ? I can do everything on my own. Can't I ? Am I driven by money ? Do I even truly love my parents ?
The questions just never end. I'm starting to be more kind to myself and accept the way I truly am and stop living up to the expectations of others. It's taking time but hopefully I'll get there.

What career options are best for 6's? Would love to see a video on that! You know I can't trust my own ideas LOL~since I'm a 6, I need someone to tell me what career to do.

Hi, Torie, I'm a 6w7 and have 40 years of writing-editing experience. However, you have many career options -- it depends on your natural gifts. The common denominator, I think, is that sixes like to help others. The medical professionals helping us with COVID-19 are a good example of people who help others. Teachers are as well; social workers are another option. Also, because justice is important, perhaps you could become an attorney-- not a greedy corporate type-- but perhaps a public defender. Good luck to you!
