The old one just looks so much better to me wish they still made the SBE2
Only thing that I would have changed is the bolt release and put a bigger cocking lever on it.
So basically no reason to upgrade unless you are worried about mud getting into the Comfortech chevrons...
I basically replaced almost all of the M2 stuff that was mentioned in the video: recoil pad (Limbsaver Air), charging handle (lots of aftermarket options), bolt release button, C-RUM shell carrier (Before more aftermarket options were around), extended magazine tube, etc... I also added the Benelli Gel Comb riser for the Comfortech stock. That killed a lot of the recoil/concussion going through my face. Basically all said and done my M2 shooting 12 gauge feels like a kitty cat. I can do 250+ rd in a single range session without fatigue.
Glad i’ve the old system the comfortec 3 would of been a better option this stock is more of a budget option like the montefeltro
Just picked up an old version new in the box I held the new one a couple times and honestly feels like a downgrade to me
Benelli is making you go with a 3" Super Black Eagle instead of the old M2 for a few dollars more! The old M2 was a bargain! Great gun!
IMO they made this gun cheaper put a redesign forarm a bigger bolt release done I'm a big fan of the comfort tech glad I have one of the older ones.
The new and old are both great guns and we are a big fan of both the old and new models 😊
Luv Benelli , Great Gun's 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
like Maxus better 🤴👌💯💥🔝
I have the old one thank goodness
You and me both.
Baring in mind most of us dont keep a gun 10 years these days, I believe the warranty is not transferable to a new owner if sold within that 10 years.
I think the old one looks twice as good ,the new one looks like forend has been crimped in a vice . I still say Browning Maxus 1 & 2 are twice the gun no recoil and so reliable, Its all personal preference though .👍
Old version looks better
The only thing im going to change on my M2 is the handguard. Other than that its a really nice shotgun.
I just saw your video on beretta al390! I have a beretta al2 like new in box ! I was wondering how it compares with the 390 Thanks
Which one do you favor?
Old M2 all the way
They didn't even imrove the thumb pinching loading gate. And... the stock and forend still move around no matter how much you tighten them. So annoying.
The thumb pinching, there is a nack to loading semi auto’s as they all pinch the thumb now and again, as for the stocks and forends there will always be a little movement, all the guns we have are checked before they hit the shelves
