I just picked up the XL5 true X Nazgul just because banggood was giving them away for $199 and I couldn't pass up such a great deal. What. I learned is I should've gotten one of these a long time ago. Best tune I've ever flown on a 5 inch.

Yeah when they sound good is the best, no one wants whiny drones ahahah, deadcat is perfect for cinematic, even if you want to put the camera at low angle

Hard question, mark5 flies great and it's simpler if you have to repair, but i feel like the Evoque deadcat is incredible if you have to film with it, as you can have the camera at 5 degrees and still no props in view.. so i would say mark5 for ripping and bando, nazgul deadcat for cinematic

It should be props out, you have cardboards on the motors when you get the drone so you know, also indicated in betaflight in the configuration tab, if it's props in just reverse the escs and select the "motor direction is reversed" on betaflight to make it props out which has a little advantage

FPV cam is mounted on the side protection, you can remove them but have to print some camera mount! I don't think it's bad in wind as the air travels around!

I started the hobby with the dji FPV, i really love it, but it's just a bit to fragile for doing more risky stuff. (my last video includes my crash with it) I've also noticed you can get the evoque with a built-in gps module for gps rescue and stuff..? Do you also know if it can feed live audio?
Thank you so much! Yeah had the DJI FPV for a couple of days and while being a lot of fun it's nothing compared to real fpv, you are gonna have a blast! Yeah you can get with gps but it's very basic functionality, just saves your drone when lose signal and brings closer, you still have to land yourself! No audio transmission on digital, if you use analog yes
The issue is in betaflight software for flight controller, is fpv oriented and has not many gps features! There is another software called inav that has altitude hold and stuff like that, but i never tried it really
Camera is a Polar, not as good as a DJI cam or nebula pro, but better than all the other ones, it's not a bad resolution when flying (RUclips is choppy) but limited to 60 fps and has a bit of latency, but if you want to fly at night is the best

@ukmonk yes they are M5, but look for the nylon inserted ones, or better look for prop nut directly so you are sure they don't come off!

On deadcat you can go very low actually, the x you have to be at like 30degrees

What camera is on that Vista? Probably a nebula? Blocky and choppy... Yu had a good flight and I love the Nazgul but that camera is awful bro.
