I listen to QOTSA since 2001, I dreamed various times about meeting Josh, I'll try to take a photo with him before I die. Do you have any tips on how I might be able to meet them after or before the concerts?
I missed seeing them here in Perth, Australia on Saturday night (the 10th Feb) because I'm a weak PoS who can't handle being around people...not even to see my idol in person😒. I'm definitely not saying everyone with social anxiety, depression etc is weak, btw. Just me. It would've been an epic night and seeing my Ginger Elvis God live would've been a dream come true. I was depressed asf and LOATHED my predicament all night more than usual. For everyone who's seen QOTSA and/or are yet to see them in the near future this tour, make the most of those memories and have a blast for anxiety sufferers like myself and, even more, for your own lucky self🤘🏻🤎.
So sorry to hear you suffer in this way. I can totally understand how frustrating it must have been to want to go but your mind is telling you don’t do it. I too suffer anxiety and panic attacks although I’m fortunate to be able to ignore the feelings which make me want to avoid certain situations … nothing was getting in my way of seeing QOTSA and to meet the band was just like a reward from the universe for pushing through my issues! ❤ I hope you get to see them eventually, it sounds like you deserve it after these struggles. I might sound hypocritical saying this but don't ever let anything stand in the way of your dreams. Holding back creates "if only"s (excellent song by QOTSA there but no pun intended 😉) and if onlys dampen that light your eyes sparkle with. That sparkle's born from happiness and that's a terrible emotion to lose. You're SOOOOOO LUCKY to get to meet them!! I really am jealous BIG time. What a memorable experience to cherish. Check flight paths,find out where they're flying from and then do the math,a friend has met a few bands in airports because of this
