As a 5 player it is the most sadistic role. Glimpsing carries, disabling them for the whole fight, taking down vision and running in for that one last spell to disable a tp. The 5 role is based around making the enemy team miserable.

I play 4/5 (or 4 that acts like 5) in Crusader and just did the pull the creepwave into your lane just a couple of times. But hell, I never realized that I fuck up the enemy lane so much if I get to block 2 jungle camps, that's a really neat trick. Lesson learned, must try my best to apply this in games.
Oh Jenkins you make it sound so easy, it makes me believe that next game I play everyone in game at must at least know about roles in Dota. If the average pub player would at least listen to half this video, matches would be waaay more fun.

Offlane is the chad lane and you can't change my mind. You literally kill their most important hero and steal its farm, while simultaneously sowing discord among them while said carry baby rages about it. Not to mention you are typically the hardest hero to bring down and the one that starts fights. if gigachad was a role, it would be offlane

Dang I never thought of Dota 2 being this complex.. Ever since I started I just knew 2 things; 1. Abilities 2. Decide which hero should be considered the carry(in my pubs experience sometimes we all pick carries and for ex: I play DK and see that my lane mate is Drow, I let her have cs and do lane pulls) I never realized there were 5 positions until now, always thought it was 3 carries and 2 supps. As well as neutral spawn blocking and smart ward planting. Must be why I don't play for MMR :0

Been following pos 4 guide for about 6 month in Herald bracket. Result for 250 games on a single hero:AVG KDA of 11-3-13 and a 40% WR. Thanks Jenkings bro
If you genuinly have 40% WR with an avg KDA of 11-3-13 as a pos 4 you're most likely: - Being far too careful - Building like a core every single game - Stealing a lot of farm from your cores All this being said, you're in the herald bracket, if you get stuck in herald with that kind of kill stats you probably pick heroes that doesn't scale at all or can't do objectives at all on their own.
Whenever I'm using a strength offlane hero main items are: 2 bracer vanguard brown boots Cloak Having these can last me a whole game without problems even though I go in guns blazing

several things to correct in current meta: as offlaner DO NOT ever buy even one bracer if you are not owning the lane, you may buy talisman or wraith band tho, bc bracer is weak af, the recipe costs u the same 210 gold as other items but grants you mere 0.75 regen and 2 ATK which cannot change anything, while talisman and band are way more worthy, if your pos 4 don't do anything to break the tie but just leech your lane EXP, tell them to leave so that you can catch up the level, try get some LH without dying, buy ring of health or helm of iron will asap (real change bringers unlike useless bracer! with these you are unlikely to be killed and can recover fast!) then dive & stack jungle!

Jenkins got a correct point that any hero can be played as pos5 if you know what you're doing. my favorite picks are NS, tide, slardar (typical pos3 heroes) and with a blink I can have a good positioning in fight (but then i realized my play style only fits with aggressive pos1 or a pos2 that likes ganking) about warding, it's definitely a mind game. i usually need my courier help to deward. i really hate MK, Zeus, NP but that's fate. about pulling, i still can't find a way to get rid of enemy disturbing me when pulling. watch what Jenkins talked about pulling as pos4 and pos5 at _small camp_, i don't know what to do if I can't pull besides calling mid for help...
you’re not really a pos 5 if you’re buying blink, you can’t afford one if u have to buy salves, tps and sentries unless it’s past 20mins and that’s already a bit late to have a power spike

As a player who plays only dawnbreaker(platinum tier) (ex guardian 2 player now herald 5), blink dagger for dawnbreaker .. does not really work .. if dawnbreaker tries to initiate like the rest of offlaner she will inevitably feed a lot...
mainly(stuck) at 3k-4k bracket as pos4 on SEA server, i agree with u on 7:01 but its frustating when ur 3core just farming til 30min . . . . even with fast-paced meta nowadays pos3 still rarely build bkb (especialy on my teammates, but not on enemy offlaner) . . . . carry who always stay at lane and fighting a losing fight, meanwhile enemy carry recover at junggle and other lane yeah sure dota is fuckin funny game

Be ready for enemy 3s trying to pull off that creep pull. That's easy first blood right there.
good tip for 3/4/5 positions - buy wraith pact as a first item

Gotta argue here 4 is an easy role all you do is follow those that are ready to fight run through the jungles and cause absolute chaos and disorder.
If you main core but get stuck in sup,just learn CM,WD and Shaman. Basically the easiest and faitly strong sups in game.
