Me and my friend tried this strat..I fed off lane until I hit level 4 my friend come to help me he fed too we got reported in 2 different games and now we are in low priority. Thanks Jenkins great guide
it's best only to play am offlane as a dire. Because u can use the trees to escape while on radiant isn't that good for escaping. But now u do in lane depends mostly on matchup, but u need a good support for this to work out, if the matchup sucks then u can escape by going into trees, then blink out and u won't feed. If while engaged ur position is bad and you go the usual escape route which is going backwards then you will feed with any offlane hero, but if you position urself near trees you should be able to survive
4:36 any NA to confirm this but sea its pretty accurate they will blame you for not taking the bad fight that the support initiate everytime he respawn
the route should be like this: 1. I died somewhere due to something 2. I INSTA TP 3. I initiate fight again 4. Either my mid come to me because he's just as dumb, or he doesn't come because he said he doesn't have his bkb yet. 5. If he doesn't come due to the latter reasoning, I will fucking yell at him 6. I'll grief.
In NA its farm heavy but often in the negative way, Enemy team is diving t3s to kill a pos 4 support 3 allies have tp's and ults up no-one tp's Enemy gets the kill takes the wave under tower and leave, Nothing happens for the next 6 minutes, Rosh dies and the game ends one way or the other

@@FreePheoniix damn sea is the opposite. no split push so its 5 dudes defending t3. you might think its stupid but the enemy is also stupid their support probably pinging to dive tier 3 without aegis they die we pushed. naturally they bb and our carry dies ofc they push same tbing happen but support survived we "push" and get wiped by 2 support because fountain dive naturally and enemy carry timer spawn and we lost gg ez is typed

I played dota1, kinda miss that early game murder. Pick cm, try to get kills in safe lane, your carry won't ever leave his creeps, even if the kill is right there :(
@@imjyun idk iam playing alot in EU and make complete different experience. I have 6k playing hours and my games are so fight intensive. Most of my Games my Team making space and getting Towers as 4 try to harras their carry and force their offlaner back to defend so they cant make space and 1 Core farms the shit out of him. It works really well and there are allways waaaay more kills than minutes.
I play this exact style of anti-mage with my friends since I started getting bored. Called it the “Chad-mage” build. Most fun I’ve had in a while playing dota.
My main is offlane Axe. Max hunger first then helix and peer pressure the carry into getting last hits or dying, or target the support and force them to steal lane creeps or die. buy 2 bracers before tranquils then start creep cutting and dare them to fight you. the creeps will proc helix while they have no creeps to remove hunger and even if they kill you, you've made so much gold cutting the lane and they've ignored your creeps hitting their tower. Build blademail then blink dagger and make their team wish they weren't born. Buy shard to make it even worse. Buy heart and then overwhelming blink as luxury items. If your team is even slightly competent the game should be over at this point. If not, buy whatever you want to replace the bracers with, I recommend scepter for the added pain. Enjoy!

Look at roaming support item toplane. Biggest insult to your playerbase is hyper nerfing every new strategy that has success instead of trusting them to find a counter meta.

I've been unirronically doin' the Vanguard thing, I never play core so it was a concept, in HoN I would build loads of armor with my high magic armor and just splitpush and backdoor with Deso all game In Dota I've done more of the build tank and jump the backline and drain everyone's mana, my biggewst issue is that Invoker kind of does it better and I find it better to just murder the backline anyways
Actually, AM was a mid hero and Vanguard is his core early items, until Burning touch AM and leave his legacy Battle Fury build, man im glad someone showing this AM build, and i hope it's viable again because it's the best way to play AM, not 30 mins PvE
Even earlier, Vanguard was common on safe lane AM because it could be built with a laning shield and side shop items; that was common for many melee safe lanes. We also got Battlefury on Magnus and Earthshaker because it changed their attack animation and looked really cool.
One tip that I think is worth mentioning is to fill up your inventory with cheap items! Most anti mage players don't do this, because it slows down your battlefury manta timing. However on offlane antimage you are looking to fight so before buying a diffusal, fill your other slots. Good items are; wand, raindrops, orb of corrosion (as mentioned by Jenkins), dust, falcon blade (perhaps a bit expensive). Whatever you choose, make sure to always buy 4 of these items.
Hello Jenkins, I have watched your videos and implemented your teaching to my play style. I started experimenting with different heroes and roles. I tried PL support and to my surprise, I found success. I went 7 W - 2 L this weekend. Then I was overwatch banned for 24 hours. I am sad.

Hello Jenkins, i have recently started playing Dota and so far only played bot games. Yesterday i picked Jakiro on my first ever pvp game and had a lot of fun, we even won! Then i saw this video an tried it on my second game. I fed my ass off, people spam pinged my vanguard and i probably got reported. After telling my team that this is my second pvp game ever, i got told to consider playing with "aids" instead of Dota. Thank you so much Jenkins, going into my third game as i type this!

Very informative video, my only complaint is what I am not sure if the video has ended. I've been on this page for over an hour and still waiting in case it is not yet over.
The good news is that Vanguard has finally become near staple early game purchase for AM for him to either dominate the lane or make it out even on difficult ones, the bad news is diffusal build never really took off but the alternative to Battlefury, Radiance actually has a drastically different playstyle compared to the usual and it's desirable and very active. Although I doubt playing him that way would be feasible and ideal on offlane unfortunately.

I used to spam this exact build on turbos, I called it crackhead AM since it primarily focuses on disrupting fights.

VG build is an old time classic, evilarthas employed it in TI quals once, he was playing it since DotA 1.
