Oh there was this boy. We were absolute sweethearts from childhood. I remember it was the first day of school and little me was crying and he came to talk to me. After that , he was my only friend for very lomg. My mum usually picked me up late from school so he used to accompany me until his father came to pick him up and if my mother hasnt showed up yet, he used to tell his father to stop amd wait until my mother arrives. We were 5yo kids. But after a few years, something happened and we stopped talking. But then in 8th grade, we had same classes and we eventually started talking again. I loved singing amd he loved singing too. We were both in the school choir. Whenever there used to be any celebrations, we used to go to the choir practice together just for him to not show up on the main day. It anmpyed me but also made me realize that he's not interested in choir but me. He used to skip all those classes just to be with me. We even sung together infront of the whole class once. We were absolute sweethearts commected by songs..we usually used to handsign across the class to talk to each other. Oh we were soo young and he liked me so so much..i did too but i was too young to understand. I am now away from my hometown for studies..Now that i think of it, i wish i could still talk to him somehow. This kind of innocent love is so precious..he always dropped obvious signs that he likes me but me being so dumb:") i liked him too oh lord..i remember once i asked him who his crush is and he said "look in my eyes. You'll see her in my eyes" (we were only 12 at that time domt judge) 😭oh how i miss those times..

For me it sounded like getting ready for school in the morning while thinking of your crush
oh man, you described it perfectly. I had a crush on this boy in 8th and 9th grade, we shared the same music taste, he would let me braid his hair and then get really shy about it, he would compliment me about my hobbies, etc. I was bummed when he got a girlfriend in 9th grade. They lasted about a month and we did not interact for a few months after that. But on a random April day, we talked a bit. I can remember it very clearly, I playfully tried on his glasses and posed, asking him if they fit me. I was convinced he only saw me as a friend but he gave me the warmest smile ever and said they do fit me nicely. I blushed and gave them back. The same day he was using his phone as a speaker and gave it to me so I can play the songs I liked. When another guy came and tried to change the music he was so annoyed :) He changed schools that year, and we never spoke again. He was one of my real crushes, who made me blush and giggle and gave me so many butterflies. I don't know if I have feelings for him anymore, but I am happy with myself, so the calm ending of the song really reflected that. I hope he's happy too :)

when I was 14 I wasn't in love, was surrounded by fears of corona. Now I'm 18, not in love but surrounded by expectations and pressure for marks and rank. still, the music resonates the drive within me, the passion for love isn't only for a lover but for the things you love and love to do too.

Kinda stopped paying attention somewhere around 5th, but I switched to homeschool and I’m trying to get back on track. Most of my literary work is self-taught, my parents and siblings struggle to catch onto what I’m saying sometimes. Not to mention, I’ve been in and out of different kinds of schools so they don’t get the credit either.
I'm only 14 but this sounds, nostalgic. My first crush only started 5 months ago. Growing up, I never had crushes. But, when I transfered schools I met this guy. He is my classmate and we met through a mutual friend. That mutual friend used to have a crush on him and I used to tease them both a lot until our mutual friend eventually got a boyfriend. Haha, I remember being a fourteen something year old and cringing at the relationships that teens around me had. I firmly used to believe that love doesn’t happen at a very young age and it’s all simply infatuation, until it happened to me. i def had crushes before and may i add crushes that lasted 2-3 years but this one was different. The rush was out of this world. Him and i would stay up whole night talking to each other, i was spending 25 hours out of the 24 hour day just on call with him. I vividly remember this one time i was on a walk while on a call with him, and he made me laugh so hard that I had to literally sit down on the pavement or else i feared I’d faint for how hard i was laughing. Weeks, months and years passed and the rush only intensified. It wasn’t even butterflies at this point, i felt at utter peace when i talked to him. I felt this intense connection with him, as if i had met him before, as if i knew him more than i knew myself. Sounds strange, but it was as if he was me and i was him. It is still one of the most cherished experience I have had till date, it was absolutely ecstatic for the few years it lasted. young love is so pure and innocent.
This surely does take me back to when i was 14 and in love for the first time. I remember being so sad and helpless when we fell apart after years of togetherness, but what I wouldn’t give just to feel those butterflies and rush for the first time again. I really hope he’s doing well now.

This reminds me a lot of a crush I had on my classmate in 8th grade. We'd known each other since kindergarten, but I'd only started liking her that year. My heart rushed whenever she smiled at me. I knew she liked girls, so me being a girl too wasn't a concern. It was really just whether she liked *me*, and how she would react. When I finally did confess, on the last day of school, right before we all left, she said, "Okay, is that all?" and it was like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. my crush and i had every class together, and the teachers "randomly" sat us next to each other every time. we would banter throughout the whole classes, then because we spoke through the lesson and had no idea what was going on - we'd help each other with class work. this song makes me remember the smiles that we put on each other's faces.

I dated someone when I was 11-13 and honestly regret not just waiting for someone. It all happens at different times! My best friend is 16 and he's never dated or really even had a crush. Just enjoy the ride and they'll show up at the right time

I'm not 14, but it's taking me back a couple of months when I was at one of my final school dances and I just fell in love. Him and I just danced for the whole thing. The whole thing! We're not even dating! We just made a collective decision to dance for the full 3 hours like we were dating and it was the best 4 hours of my life. No worries. Life's suddenly gotten better from there and I just can't stop feeling this weird feeling in my stomach every time he walks by me and I just can't look at him anymore because if I do, I'll just fall over like a tree. I love this so much. I've never been able to feel this before, or at least not after my first boyfriend a couple of years ago. He wasn't the one but this guy I've met now? He might be... Dont lose faith in love. Last October I broke up with my first gf, who was also my best friend, but the worst part was the fact that we kinda stopped being friends months before the actual breakup.
