Excellent video presentation about the importance of the Fenit island tombolo. This is a special place that needs preservation. Coastal erosion is a significant issue and this group at this location needs protection. I visited Fenit for swimming around the lighthouse and buoys
I was struck by the back beach, the tombolo and its importance as a connection to the island and shelter to Barrow. Wildlife habitats are also very important. The work inc dune fencing , marram grass planting and other work done by this group is excellent.

I hope your efforts are fruitful. Such a fragile circumstance.
As a visitor and outdoorsman, I enjoyed kayaking and roaming around Barrow Harbor. It struck me as unique and the historical connections to Ardfert I found fascinating.
I hope the harbor and it's environment remains protected.

Brilliant video and great work all. I wonder how much fencing you could have bought with 350 grand, but i suppose its more important for Eamon Ryan to have his bike shed up in Dublin.....
