    Love the layout of the greek, nice font and spacing. Very readable and also the bleed through is very minimal. One of the better I have seen.

    Oh man, now I might be able to do a project I thought I would never be able to do! I'm looking at doing a KJV/WEBSTER Bible merge and update.
    Basically I want to take the Webster Bible, change a few things back to the KJV (like the ones you pointed out), and update words that weren't archaic in Webster's day and vulgar words. But I'm gonna retain the Thee's and Thou's etc.
    Thank you Pastor! 🙏🏻

    I have a idea for a bible I want to have made. NASB95 translation. Single Column. Large 10.5 Font. 12"x12"x3" thick. 4" margins. Interleaf blank page between each book of the bible. This would be for note taking.

      I don't even want mine that thick. I want it about 1 1/2 thick. 11x9x1 or 12x10x1.5 I want it THIN.

    Thanks, Stephen! Dream Bible = HB-Masoretic with LXX plus Greek NT and 1892, New Testament in Hebrew by Delitzsch. ....
    Add in a side column English ESV .... and wide margins - yes... a behemoth... but what a beauty! If there was extra space, add in Modern Hebrew and Syriac versions (but by now this is multi-volumes).... all this in opposite single column parallel pages Greek on right side, Hebrew on left - English in smaller columns on outside edges.

    That's really cool! My only complaint is that the text block appears to be perfect bound. Seems to be a lot of money to have something print and bound only for pages to begin falling out in a short period of time.

      Preserve the Word who rebound it for me have a method of reinforcement to increase the longevity of the binding. Alternatively, Norris Book Binding will side stitch it. But it will never be a Smyth sewn binding, you are right. It’s the only downside.

    My dream bible is a double collum, one side is ESV and one side is NLT. It also has 2 inch margins as well as interleaved with spurgeon notes at the bottom. Do you know how I can make that?

    • @BiblicalStudiesandReviews
      @BiblicalStudiesandReviews  2 года назад +3

      Well...you would probably have to start by writing Crossway and Tyndale to see if you could get copyright permissions. Fortunately all of Spurgeon’s notes are in the public domain. From there it could the work could be done on Microsoft word. The biggest challenge would be locating all the relevant Spurgeon notes and placing them where they belong.

    Hey! Thanks for giving in to my request for this. I have one question about Snowfall Press' printing. Do they print it with folded leaves, or are they single leaves? (if that makes sense). One issue I had with using Microsoft word is getting the font size as small as I could while still looking right. Whenever I print what I have, I found the best way to do it is convert to PDF, and when printing from Adobe Acrobat I can shrink it by percentage. It helps a lot. It allows me to shrink it to fine tune the font size, and have a lot of margin space as well. I don't know if I could get Snowfall to follow that procedure (and it would be a huge task to retype all that I have in a new document), especially if they print it on folded leaves, as I'm sure that's a more difficult process to customize. So I'm just wondering how the printing works with them.. if you can give me some more info, that would really help. God bless!

    • @BiblicalStudiesandReviews
      @BiblicalStudiesandReviews  3 года назад +3

      They are done with single leaves not folded. So what size font are you trying to get it down to? I’ve found Microsoft word can get down pretty small. The English side of my bible is pretty small.

    • @faithbasedchristian4494
      @faithbasedchristian4494 3 года назад +1

      @@BiblicalStudiesandReviews Well Word can only adjust by 0.5 pts at a time. So it's not about getting it smaller, but rather just getting it to the right size with the overall layout. I'm probably not explaining it well, but I messed around with tons of options when I began laying out the document I have going, and found just shrinking it about 15 percent in Adobe is easier than adjust all the fonts (headings, chapters, text, footnotes, etc.) all over the document so I can make it smaller overall. So that's kind of where I'm at with it. I wanted to be able to print it, then trim it so it would be smaller, with decent margin space (without the text being so small that it's tough to read).
      Since it's only single leaves, maybe there's a way I can print it myself, then send it to be bound from there? It may be easier than redoing the whole thing. If you have any other thoughts that may help let me know. Still, this is a lot of good info to work with. Thanks a ton! (Awesome Bible by the way).

      @@faithbasedchristian4494 thanks! Well here is my suggestion...1. go ahead and get your snowfall account (it’s free to setup). 2. Check out the description I have in this video (there is a troubleshooting for Snowfall link they have there.) 3. Just save the file in the format you have. You can upload what you have and then you can preview it there. You can even make some adjustments there. Like I said though hit the troubleshooting link above. There is a file format from Adobe that is optimal (not absolutely necessary) to save it in. I suggest using their “lightweight paper” as well. I would just go to snowfall and play around with it a bit until you feel comfortable. Let me know if you get stuck or need some help.

Did Snowfall Press mailed the Bible to you? 4. Will Snowfall Press print even 1 copy? 5. Sir i noticed your New Testament are all Left Justify. May i know why is that? Thanks very much Sir.
