      @@SPXLabsStarting my 2nd gallon of coffee now ... good to know though how sturdy those DAC cables are ... guess the thinner the cables are the more flexible they are (hence the invention of stranded wires vs solid)

    Does your DAC hang low? Does it wobble to and fro? Can you tie it in a knot? Can you tie it in bow?

    DACs are extremely resistant. They have a spec'd bend radius FYI. Now optical / fiber , is another story. And I've slammed my QSFP+ and SFP+ on the ground a few times on accident and all works fine. Wouldn't trust fiber the same though.

      What will happen if you sew into the eeprom DAC cable the information that it is 2 times longer (the cable is 1m - we sew up that it is 2m).
      Will it work? Will there be communication between NIC ports?@@SPXLabs

      У меня есть случай, хочу сделать плату чтобы соединять 2 кабеля DAC QSFP28
