Be nice to see for more than a random second how they work as just normal lighting. Does the music sync require the app or is there a mic on the light?
So most of the scenes are flashing patterns other than the in life ones that are usually statis (very bight/Illuminated) I stned to stick to DIY colours (static) when using the hot tub in the evening and a bight (illuminated) setting when cleaning up and I then usually use the timer dimmer for turn off, ocassionally use the flashing lights scenes for halloween etc. Music sync you can either set your phone to the speaker or the actual reciever (mine is covered in the shed so doesn't work well) I think most people will only use 2 or 3 regualr settings for the lights overall. If this helps.
we have an 8' wide bridge with 4' high railings. We were thinking about getting these to both illuminate the bridge for walking and have different themes for the holidays. Would running one strip on the railings down each side be bright enough in the color modes to see where you are walking? Or do you need to use illumination mode for that?.
Honestly I think they need to be flush against a background, I don't think you would get much bounce from the floor, I t would give an cool effect for sure, but might not be the thing you are looking for. Theres the pathway lights you might be able to do something with the floor of the bridge maybe?
@@ourtwotube unfortunately i think if these aren't bright enough my best solution will be the ultra expensive "permanent" lights they sell. I might get these just to try out and if they don't work for my needs, they can end up being used on my patio for fun. thanks for your response!!
@@idiggplants I think they are def worth trying, especially if you have an idea where to re-puropse them if it doesn't meet your needs, the other lights you mention are very bright and might even be overkill, so I hope the strings do work out for you :)
The "illumination" scene works on full brightness while every other scene looks like it's barely on. I have the same issue with mine and I think they're just designed this way. Sucks... wish they were brighter in colour mode.
I think the colours are supposed to be like this as it's designed for ambient lighting, more control would be good, sometimes these updates follow in the app over time, or with newer versions of the product.
I think it was from Govee direct when I ordered - If I struggle getting the product I want I tend to look on Amazon US and pay the shipping also - I have done that before now.
No idea why they make those plug connectors that direction, will never fit in an outdoor socket, was hoping to put the wifi box in a waterproof garden box but the plug won’t fit
I saw this, really good price. My in-laws bought a pack a few weeks ago, one of the bulbs leaked some water and Govee sent them a full new pack (great service) in the meantime they were also able to seal the bulb with the issue too.
Thanks for the input, I didn't realise you were an expert in hair fashion, adds so much value to the conversation, well done! maybe make a video on it?
Govee have since released a new illumination mode that makes the floods a lot brighter, however the colour modes are more about ambience and are absolutley fine, Also Cameras always struggle to capture the full effect of lighting.
@@ourtwotube I figured as much..I want to get the 100ft string of these but I'm currently trying to decide if these or the permanent outdoor lights from govee would be better.
@pyromonkee2510 I’m currently working on the permanent outdoor lights, I wanted to get them up before the holidays but weather was pretty bad. I will get round to vlogging it just waiting for a break in the weather. 🌦️
@@ourtwotube Oh perfect and sucks to hear about the weather 😕 I'll wait for your video before I make a decision. Did you get the pro version or the basic kit?
Great video!! Thank u for showing us all the scenes 🙌🏼

How long would you say the cable is from the plug to the wifi bridge and bridge to 1st bulb please? Thanks
I'll have a look at this later on today or tomorrow and come back you you
Great video. Thanks!
Another Govee device to add to the system!
I just got these one black Friday for £35 hoping they are decent.
its an outdoor setup why do you think the control box would be damaged? does it say in the manual?
The lights are outdoor the wifi receiver and PSU are not though.
Most outdoor lights, funnily enough, don’t actually have waterproof power adapters.
Prob keeps the cost down, as insane as that is haha @@Chimera_Photography

I need the plug cord how can I get it?
Still working well? Any bulbs burn out?
Not had any issues so far, all good
@@ourtwotube Sweet thanks!
Will these sinc with govee "inside" lights, or only the outside versions?
Thanks for any answers.
Great lovely bobble 💚💚👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi and thanks
How many Watts is this? Is it 12v DC ?
UK PSU is 12V 2A AC if that helps?
Hi there, can you tell me where did you order them?
I think it was from Govee direct when I ordered - If I struggle getting the product I want I tend to look on Amazon US and pay the shipping also - I have done that before now.
Non riesco a collegare 2 dispositivi insieme. Uno si accende l'altro no. Suggerimenti?
Non sono sicuro che tu possa, li sincronizzo utilizzando le impostazioni del timer. Spero che questo aiuti amico.
What kind of plug is that looks super wierd
3 Pin UK plug? plugs will be supplied to their local regions.
Does it play music
No but it can listen and react to it

Thanks, just bought them, now 49 euro temporary

Can you turn off individual bulbs?
yes you can! :)
What is that haircut?
