I would love a lot more low-key make it gay "no thoughts in head just gay" type pieces. I love sketchbook pieces, I think because that's what I enjoy doing the most myself, and I always find myself really looking forward to it and really enjoying it when other artists do stuff in their sketchbooks. It's like my favourite type of art videos and my favourite way to relax with art myself.

I think my biggest sketch barrier right now is that I dont think my work that is smaller looks good! I think im a large scale painter so when I sit down to doodle in a sketch book it makes me feel like im back at square one 😫 but you are inspiring me to stick with it!
What about buying a larger sketchbook? That way you can still do the regular stuff but then painting won’t feel as restricting for you?
@@Beefingtoniii it’s a good point, i think i just am scared of tiny details so i like a large canvas that makes “small” details large in comparison!
I totally get that! I’m a big proponent of sketchbooks being comfy, but it can take some experimenting to get there!!

As someone who is estranged from my sisters, I think its great you're spending time with yours before she starts a new chapter in her life. This time is important, who knows what roads and paths your respective journeys will take. I'm very close with my younger brothers because we did stuff together to form those connections. Now we're all on our own paths but we still reach out and connect. Siblings remember when you push them away and don't make time for them.

Hello, I would like to make a custom pastel gouache palette. I have a set of primary colors Winsor and Newton, including white, which is almost out. I would like to buy a LARGE jar of white gouache for mixing custom colors, and I definitely wouldn't want to buy another white W&H, it feels light gray to me (maybe because it is over 5 years old?) Please advise a affordable large format white gouache, thanks!
I wonder if you still like your etchr brushes..... you kind of stopped using do you still think they good?
I pretty recently used them actually. I tend to reach for my same cheap-o brushes bc i hate using nice stuff, but i use then when i need particularly soft brushes

I feel like I'm stating the obvious, but I am really not trying to be condescending saying this. But the globe thing is definitely a very literal "feeling on top of the world" when you're in love. Like, that's probably not what you meant when you said you don't get the globe thing, but I'm throwing this out there anyway, and we can just mark it down as engagement.
