Electric Vehicle Home Charging Station, can you make money from it?

There are many Electric Vehicle Home Charging Stations on the market. But what should you be looking for if you want to sell electricity. and can you make money from it?
My home charging station is made by Ohme. My Ohme app is set up for my EV. It is a good app that gives accurate costs of each charging session. But different makes of electric vehicles have different battery sizes and charge at different Amps. So could I inadvertently overcharge my potential customers, or worse, undercharge them for my electricity. I need some facts.
Ohme claims to have a great customer service team and say they are constantly improving my charging stations software. This video will explore this claim and show you how to make money. But I possess a greater question, is it worth it?
A home charger will make your drive desirable to electric vehicle owners, but in the UK you have to make no money from electricity resale.
I also explain that the theft of electricity is not an issue with the Ohme app and accurate costings keeps you out of trouble with OFGEN (the UK Energy Regulator).
I considered all the options but the one thing that has changed is this COVID 19 pandemic. I want to make money but my health is more important to me and one big advantage home charging station have over petrol stations, they are COVID 19 free and until there is a cure, I want to keep my charging station that way. So I won't be making any money from it for a while. Did you know, electric cars save lives, you do now.
